That's what I hate about my apple body shape too and you always lose your boobs first before anything else too

That's awesome. It's good that you're getting back on track there are some people I know will lose half their goal weight and then gain all of it back. But you kept some of it off good job0 -

I'm definately apple shaped, or as I used to describe myself, "meat ball with toothpicks for legs". I carry most of my fat around my waist and it's difficult to get rid of.
I lost 14 kg so far, have about 10-13 kg left (not sure) but what's helping me is pilates and bodyweight training. If I could, I'd lift heavy too but no access to a gym and I can't afford the equipment right now so I make the best of it. Pilates is by far the most transforming type of exercise I've tried so far and I love that I'm already seeing some definition around my waist even while still technically "fat".
I'll see if I can find some pics later, but my advice would be strength train. In any way that works for you!0 -
This was when I had lost 10 kg. Not exactly a bikini pic but I hope you can see the difference anyway..

Definite apple body shape. No bust or bum, huge belly! I was 13st 5lbs at my highest, 10st at my lowest. Currently 12st 4lbs, unfortunately, but hoping to get back to 10st 7 as I workout more now and lift heavy so less worried about the number on the scale, more worried about how my clothes fit, which atm is too tight!

Apple to ruler shaped. 202.5 to 148. I'm 150 in these after pics. I have a bit more to go (8-10 lbs)--just trying to lose more in my belly.

I've noticed that the more weight I lose, the more my body looks like an hourglass shape, not an apple anymore. Does anyone else notice this? I'll try digging up some old pics to my body now. Don't lose hope apples!0

Oh that's so lovely! I'm just noticing that my top half is way bigger than my bottom half...stupid chicken legs I don't need them to get any skinnier!0 -

I'm more straight or ruler shaped now. I guess that is called banana shaped these days. But yes, my shape has definitely changed.0 -
Definitely apple shaped. I've always hated my stomach. I went from 174 pounds (I'm probably 165ish in the first picture) to under 125

That's the way I am no bust or bum and a large belly too. It sucks and I'm definitely working on changing that and trying to even out my body so its proportionate.0 -

Yeah! Do you do weight training? I lift weights once in awhile, but I've never been consistent. If I seriously lifted, my change would have been even more dramatic!0 -

I used to be more hourglass or even pear- my weight was in my hips- but after I hit a certain weight I became an apple. It all went to my gut and even my back. I would love to see the pear shape again.

I am an apple shape, or rectangle or inverted triangle! I've been this way my whole life. I keep most of my extra weight in my upper region and mainly tummy! Really hoping that losing a bit of weight and some strength training changes this a bit.0

I have just started and have not lost any weight yet but I am a full round apple! I can't wear dresses, and my middle is like a gigantic tire on my body. Really hoping that the tummy gets trimmed down a bit.0
