Um... use a knife. Then scrape it on the tablespoon. Duh.

Vegetables and lean meats tend to be low in fat, and don't contain "low fat" food labels that is actually "chemical crap storm" labels in disguise.

I would really encourage you to speak to your doctor about these feelings - that is not normal. I mean, when I was losing, it would kinda bug me to see the red numbers, but it definitely shouldn't make you feel like all your meals are battle grounds. It sounds like you're developing an unhealthy relationship with tracking…

I'll be real with you, I cannot relate to this at all. But we are all here on MFP for a reason - to lose weight and commit ourselves to healthier lives. And that we have in common :)
-
Lol, that sounds terrible

You can enter the recipe into the recipe builder here on MFP, and then enter the amount of servings the recipe makes. It should calculate the calories for you!

Nitpick much, JoRocka? Eating "whole foods" or whatever people want to call it is a lifestyle many people choose to lead that works well for them. Ease up, brah. It's also pretty obvious what that poster meant in his comments. You're just looking to jump on people, methinks. In regards to the OP, I am glad that more and…

I use Shakeology, and also About Time.

I guess I've never seen it touted that way. The people on the infomercial for it talk about going through it more than once. And that's sort of the mantra of most fitness programs, anyway. "Keep going."
-
Well, that's kind of an unfortunate position to take. I've done Focus T25 more than once and other home programs more than once. Do you go to the gym more than once in your life? Lol. I haven't done 21 Day Fix, but I think people find success with the program because it's just a tool to help teach healthier habits.…

I just finished PiYo at the end of last week. I was pretty bored with it too for the first two or three weeks. THEN, WHOA. :) Awesome program. Just awesome.

Honestly I think 1600 calories is not enough if you are doing Insanity! But 16 lbs in three months is pretty damn awesome. It took me six months to lose 20.

The difference between skim milk and whole milk is only about 50 calories per serving. Plus there are really no nutritional benefits to skim milk. Whole milk ftw!

Tell them you don't give a rip what they eat, so they shouldn't care about what you eat. People need to mind their own business, jeez!

I agree that organic/smaller produce tastes better, and I do enjoy it on occasion. But honestly, if you're looking to improve the quality of your diet, an apple is always going to be a better choice than a candy bar, whether its GMO or not. KWIM? Besides. Pretty sure the world would starve without GMOs and modern farming…

Sorry - I've been looking. They are in the process of getting it published. I'll be waiting.

OP, sport beans are just jelly beans (Jelly Belly brand) that help with electrolyte/carb replenishing on looooooong runs. There are lots of fuel options out there; Gu, Shot Blocks, etc. Once you start getting into longer distances you might find that you feel like complete garbage afterward or halfway through. Products…

They actually do sell a combo pack of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry...

I have never, ever needed to hydrate on a training run (the longest of which is 10 miles for half marathon training). I do carry a small packet of sport beans, but for the most part I do my hydrating the day before my long runs. I drink a TON of water the day before a big run. The key to staying hydrated while running is…

What's wrong with losing half a pound a week?

It was alright - I think it was definitely missing something. I will try broth next time. I never needed a rice cooker until I stopped using Minute Rice. Now I just buy regular rice and I always burnt the absolute crap out of it, lol. I don't really like having SO many appliances but I really do dig my rice cooker - very…

If you don't eat back your calories you'd only be netting like, 600 calories or lower. That's too low. So yes eat the calories. MFP makes this extremely easy to understand so I don't really understand why it's so hard for people to grasp. Green calories mean go. Red means stop. 1200 is a low number, you shouldn't be…

That sounds excellent! I just threw a cup of rice and 2 cups water in my rice cooker with a drained can of rotel, and then added some random enchilada seasonings - LOL!

Care to share a recipe? I made some for the first time last night and I definitely sort of just played it by ear.
