Voted. Good Luck!

You've already lost 12 lbs. so you know you can do this. It is a little hard to deal with the stark realities of all those measurements, but they all would have been worse 12 lbs. ago and they will all be better a month from now, IF you continue to do the things you need to do. Remember, "A journey of 1000 miles begins…

Yes and a bit. Some of it. @lovely - The Bangles?

The Hold Steady are probably my favorite current band, along with Lucero. @Doug - BeeGees?

From my experience, if you are feeling it in the front of your thighs, you are leaning too far forward and using the front of your feet to push yourself up. Concentrate on pushing your thighs outward, keeping your weight back and pushing up with your heels. This will ensure you are using your glutes to push up. If you do…

Nowhere. Unless Squats gives you permission.

Absolutely. And you need to find more "with it" friends.

Good call. Another acceptable answer. This works too as long as we're talking Johnny Cash and Dwight Yoakam, not Shania Twain and such. Kiss.

Ding Ding Ding... That is one of many acceptable answers. A bit of a guilty pleasure as they crossed over into mega startdom, but I liked then when... "You get What You Play For" and "You Can Tune a Piano, But You Can't Tune a Fish" a couple of great, underrated albums. Adam and The Ants

No offense, but there is a big difference between what a 60 year old body can do vs. what a 27 year old body can do. OP, you are young enough to make great progress, but it isn't easy. If you still have fat to lose, you will need to continue eating at a deficit to get rid of the fat. You should also exercise to strengthen…

Ummmmm.... No. Can put up with "A Touch of Gray" and "Casey Jones", but other than that, not my cup o' tea. The Misfits.

If you want to use an app, I would recommend Jefit. It does not require an internet connection to work, it will take what you input on your phone and sync it with the website later. My only issue with them, is there is limited reports (especially in the free version. Though you can upgrade to get more.), little to no…

Have always heard parallel or below is best. Beach, thanks for links. OP please post links from your doctor when you get them.

If your goals are set correctly, you are eating at a deficit. That's good. Be careful with your exercise calories. 339 calories burned for a 48 minute moderate walk sounds a little high to me. If you're trying to lose weight, I would suggest erring on the low side for you're exercise calories. Good luck!

I weigh daily, and don't let the daily fluctuations bother me. I have found it enlightening to see how diet can temporarily affect the scale, and then it returns to "normal". I find that understanding how my body works enlightening, and it totally removes any stress that weighing daily might create. One question for the…

Assuming when you set up your activity level on MFP, you did not factor in this exercise, when you log it, you are accounting for calories burned in addition to your normal settings. From a strictly from a logical standpoint, you would use 430 as the 70 is already included in your base settings. However, if you included…

Interesting. Might have to try this. Thanks for posting.

you go!!!

You're in the right place. Don't be too hard on yourself. I think comparing yourself to others is a normal human trait. Keep at the logging and eating at a caloric deficit and you will see the results. Make sure not to deprive yourself of foods you like, just understand the calories in them, control portions and fit them…

I am so happy to find this thread. I thought it was just me who had this problem. I am posting to "bookmark" this, but want to read all replies before weighing in.
