so with a trainer and eating clean I managed to loose 35 pounds...fell off board gained 10 back but I would like to loose them again by January. Started insanity today...lets support each other..we can do this

1. work out in the morning- burn 600 calories 2. drink tons of water- to stay full 3. fill at least half of every plate with healthy veggies 4. enjoy

I have recently started running with the c25k program. I have now completed week 6. I find when I run the weight comes off all the sudden. I won't see a change for a couple weeks then I will drop 3 pounds over night. Don't get discouraged just keep up the good work. By the way, I also strength train (circuit training) 3…

I totally feel the same way. I have been single for awhile now and although I have thoroughly enjoyed the pros and freedom from obligations and limitations I have recently grown to despise all the cons. The lack of companionship (that my dog can't supply) has really hit me.

You could also check a Fresh Market for those foods. I am not found of my EAS chocolate Whey protein either but I mask it by mixing it with berries ice and a tiny bit of water, then its not so bad. I hate wasting items I have already bought.

Thanks for all the support and encouraging words. It is such a motivation to keep it up! I started in July 18th and lost around 8 pounds then joined MFP in early August.

I started July 18th, so almost 3 months with an hour of cardio MWF and an hour of circuit training Tues and Thurs. Saturdays are strength or cardio and Sundays rest. My abs are getting so strong. I can't wait to shed some more pounds and be able to really see them!

I wrote this thread because I noticed so many of my mfp friends eating fast food on a regular basis and still seeing results. I can see how it can be convenient.

for me its pretty simple: eat clean (no processed foods- except dark chocolate)+drinking lots water+ cardio+ strength= results to each their own though
