I only run on the treadmill because where I live isn't really safe. Like others have suggested, maybe if you watch the TV or something it will take your attention away from the running. My biggest problem is watching the time, as I am still very new to running, so like if I'm aiming to run for 3 minutes, when it gets to 2…

Sending a friend request now - we can do it!

Youtube actually has quite a few - there are some full length Bob Harper workouts, Jillian Michaels too, seriously just type in 'full workout' and there are thousands, lot of different lengths from just 10 minute quick ones to full one hour harder ones!

Wow, just incredible. I'm in awe of how strong you are and have been throughout your journey, as a fellow PCOS sufferer you give me hope! Congratulations on your amazing lifestyle change.

They probably deleted their profile or their posts :/

So exciting to see your progress! Well done, you look amazing :D

I haven't done this diet, I am lowering my refined carbs because I have PCOS and it's better for me. I do however know someone who is on a ketogenic diet and lost 6 stone over I think a year, and it was basically what you described - very limited carbs, high fat and protein, stuff like avocados, peanut butter, steak,…

There's a forum post about it I think, I've never posted a pic either so hope the link helps! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1041112-need-help-adding-pictures-look-here-tutorial-with-pics

Looks like you need one of those passes to view those. Try this link - it's not Youtube, but it is Level 3 of 30 Day shred http://www.izlesene.com/video/jillian-michaels-30-day-shred-level-3/7259991

This! You do need carbs, and you'll get people saying "don't cut carbs" and "don't eliminate a food group", and they're technically right. You need to eat good carbs, like the wholegrain versions of foods and complex carbs like sweet potatoes, as these are good for you. That way, you'll also feel better because when you…

Month challenges are a great way to stay motivated, good luck!

If you get a decent one, it will ask you to input information that will help it to calculate a fairly accurate calorie burn, info such as weight and age!

In your diary settings, have you set your daily activity levels to reflect how active your job is? If you're really active, make sure you have given yourself enough calories for the day. Also, invest in a heart rate monitor - that way you can see your calorie burn on an average work day! :D
-
Great stuff, you look fantastic and you know what - I think people look their BEST after a good workout, you glow and look happy and proud. Get it girl :D
-
you look fantastic, well done, keep it up!
-
If you go on to Youtube, you'll see that Spark People has some resistance band workouts, try those, really great :D

I keep seeing on here that you should eat back your calories, so I do! Maybe I leave 200 or so at the end of the day or something, but never really more than that, especially if I've burned those calories through like a gym session or something, i.e. a concerted workout effort! Don't forget, if you've set your MFP profile…

I'm not sure what ethnicity has to do with your calorie count, so er, leave that as a dead end for now.... If your stomach rumbles and you're hungry, then eat. 1200 calories is actually less than the daily intake for anyone, that's why MFP recommends it as it is for loss. You say you're forcing it with a snack but then you…

Congrats on that amazing loss smushymushy, and to the OP I know this isn't as helpful as all the other more science-y answers but I know the feeling of having that huge loss at the start on an unsustainable diet like the low carb - I'm not saying no-one can ever keep up a low carb diet because some people have but it's…

Well done, you look fantastic - and we can really see a change in confidence in the newer pictures :D

As far as I recall, he was doing it because he lived on campus and the gym was too expensive! He did about 15 minute jogging on the spot (I guess you don't have to do 15 minutes non-stop), as well as jumping jacks and skipping rope (you can 'skip rope' without the rope, of course), all of these are great cardio you can do…
-
Yeah one of my friends on here included jogging on the spot in his diary most days and he hit his target of about 30lb loss quite easily combining it with his diet, wear trainers when you do it though!
-
I am doing it, have been on this plan for about 5 weeks and have lost 8lbs, which is a sensible weight loss. For my fast days I prepare a low calorie vegetable soup for my lunch - this means I'll get nutrients without loading up on calories. My dinner is normally something like an omelette with lots of spinach and…

Ugh, shut up

Well done :D I am just getting started with running myself!
-
I'm going to add you! I don't post many updates however I do log all my stuff one here, and love seeing people's progress and motivating them whenever I can :D
-
I'd never heard of it until I saw your post, and the idea of figuring out which foods you are intolerant too has always seemed like a good idea to me. Well done on your weight loss so far, and when you feel like moving on from this Virgin Diet, you should look up 'clean eating' on the boards, cos it'll help you push…

Great idea, thank you! I don't have a regular stylist, and so I think I'll do that and mention my problem :D
