  • I started where you did, and we're about the same height. This is SUCH motivation for me, and I thank you. Congratulations to you on a job well done. :)
  • I am soooo happy to have found this group. I have zero energy to exercise. I pushed through a tough workout the other day (two days before I started my cycle) and am still sore. Today I feel zapped. No cravings, really, although I did indulge in some lemon cookies last night. I may fight through a short aerobics video…
  • I don't so much binge as my tastes seem to change... meaning I want SUGAR! and SALT! instead of salad and chicken. This week I've had cookies almost every day when I'm supposed to be on a low-carb cycle. It'll be over in a few days and we can get back to normal. :)
  • Hi Sasha! Please feel free to add me, too. :) I'm in the US and have about 40 pounds to lose, or to shrink enough, whichever comes first. It's a pleasure to meet you!
  • I've lost more inches than pounds myself. It can be frustrating not to see the scale move, but the feeling of being able to get into smaller clothing is amazing. :)
  • I fit into a size 12 today. :) While the pants were too snug for public wear, they zipped easily!
  • Hi Manda! I was in the Navy reserves, and miss it a lot. I'll join this with you, if only to fit back into my uniform. :-)
  • Please feel free to add me, too, all of you. :) I love motivation. It's you guys that keep me sane and in control! SW:181.6 CW:172.6 GW:Let's go with 140 for now. Ht: 5'6.5"
  • My calves have always stayed around 15" no matter what. My thighs are 23" at the moment and hopefully will keep shrinking, but I've always had a heavier lower half.
  • Inspiration! I can't wait to work my arms up to that. :)
  • I have been doing Slim in 6 for a couple of weeks now, but not to the extent suggested. I do Ramp it up about 4 times a week, and occasionally the extra ab workout. I do my own stretching routines, really taking the time I need to stretch out the pain LOL Please feel free to add me!
  • I agree with those suggesting agoraphobia. I suffered from this for over a year, which made my life miserable. My confidence was shot, and I lived with crippling panic attacks many, many times a day. The thought of one person seeing me, other than my family, was enough to send me into my bedroom closet. If you are…
  • I like to prefill my diary for work days. I will make the food for that day ahead of time, and stick to it. Other days I don't usually prefill because I like spontaneity. :)

Bring on the…

  • I'm appreciating this thread so much, and apologize to those of you I sent excited friend requests to without even looking at the date (JUNE!) lol I'm 5'6 1/2" and 174. I will be thrilled to post photos when I get to each goal. :) First goal: 165. Second goal: 150. Final goal: 135-140.
  • Your face looks so much brighter in the second picture, and you look FANTASTIC overall! :) :)
  • Sending a request, too. :) I've had many starts and restarts, too.
  • Thank you for passing joy on to others. :)
  • I appreciate your honesty, first of all. I blamed work and stress and everything else for not exercising, but in the long run, I was not motivated at all. I started with a simple aerobics video on the television. My first day I was miserable, I hated it, and I wanted to quit and go back to the couch. The second day, I woke…
  • I'm going about the holidays like it's any other day. Thanksgiving went well, and so did my birthday. I didn't have pie or birthday cake or anything, because I had the NEW ME in mind for next year! :) (Also, if I have one piece, it sets off the cravings all over again...) Christmas will be the same. I will probably be…
  • I am 5'6 1/2" (where did that 1/2" go?) and am currently 175.2. I'm low-carbin' but would be a supportive fan of whatever you're doing to reach your health goal. :) No kids, boyfriend of >5 years, and a new nurse.
  • Hello loves! Thank you so much for having this group. :) I do love a challenge! My name is Cori, and I'm in California. My weight has been all over the place in my adult life, going from 125 to 220 and back to 118 due to an awful divorce and subsequent eating disorder. I soon stabilized around 140. In the past 5 years, I…
