Tlou - you go girl. Let me know how it is. I cant do mine until after a full day at work and Mondays are no joys. I should plan out my meals tonight so I know I will have the energy to run at 7pm. But right now I have another daunting challenge...filling out the massive amount of paperwork that the school mailed a month…

I just finished W3D3. I covered up my ipod so I couldnt look at how much time left. Running at a very low pace worked for me. I kept my heart rate below 160. The higher the pace, my heart rate goes into 170s and not good. I am actually looking forward to starting W4D1 on monday. 5 minutes sounds like a longtime but I am up…

Keep up the good work. You can always repeat days or weeks. Dont worry about being to big, 3 years ago I ran 5k heavier than I am now. I didnt run it all. I walked/Ran the wholeway. I restarted c25k and Tomorrow I begin week3...my plan of action is to run slower than this past week. Just take it at your own speed. Feel…

OMG...thank you for sharing! I am starting the c25k over 200 lbs. It is hard but what makes it doable are success stories like yourself. You are amazing and I hope I enter my 50s as rewarding as you 40s.

I do other training at the gym. I strength train, ride bike, hop on the eliptical or use the arc trainer. Tonight might be Zumba.

Me too! I need to lose over 40. Count me in.

I may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday.

Awesome job PK!

Nicole , when I did my first 5k 3 years ago, I did a combo of running and walking. I couldnt run more than about 2 minutes at a time. Good luck on your first one. I had to start my training all over again withc25k. Hopefully I will finish it and be able to have the endurance to run for longer periods of time.
