Been living the macro life for three weeks and so far, I LOVE IT! I am used to eating fairly strict paleo with minimum results. Being able to eat rice and ice cream (on occasion) again has been wonderful. From what I hear, the results are slow (it's a lifestyle, not a yo-yo fad diet) but that's ok - I could eat like this…

Just as a piece of encouragement - my 20 mile training run was a MILLION times worse than the 26.2. The adrenaline of race day, the fans along the course, knowing you've worked your butt off in your training runs - all of that counts so much more in the actual run. That said, I would definitely try to get the blister…

Greek Style Quinoa - it's my absolutely favorite. I found it 2 or 3 years ago... possibly on MFP. I can't remember. Anyway, I know I've posted it before, but here it is. So easy and delicious. Enjoy! Greek Style Quinoa Ingredients 1 cup quinoa 2 cups water 3 tbsp. olive oil ¾ cup fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. dried oregano 1…

I bought the 405 when I was running marathons, but right now I'm not. Obviously I'm moving when I'm doing insanity... just not running. Guess this won't work to calculate calories burned. oh well.

Doing my second fit test today - I've already gotten comments that I look like I'm losing weight. I love this workout! Does anyone know approximately how many calories you're burning in the first month of workouts? I'm not sure how to log in on my exercise tracker.

I guess my biggest question is what the purpose of dry frying the noodles is. Will they be crunchy on the outside? Does it change the taste? I have rinsed and heated the noodles, then sauteed mushrooms and added them in and it tasted great.

You can get tilapia that isn't farm-raised at a lot of organic grocery store counters such as Whole Foods or Central Market. I like to steam my tilapia - marinate in lemon or lime juice with some spices on top, steam for 16 minutes with steamed veggies and rice. YUM!

I'm going to start a blog about people that inspire me to do TNT so that those donating to LLS will have a better insight into why we are doing what we are doing. If you or your mom would like to tell your story, I'd be very happy to feature it on the blog (should be up by next week). Also, I'm so jealous your husband is…

as with all things : good in moderation. the cream and sugar is what makes it so bad for you most of the time. it's hard on my kidneys and bladder, but i'd drink much more if it wasn't. if it's the taste you like, maybe try subbing one cup of decaf into your daily intake.

Found this one on MFP a while back ago. It was really good, I just used too much garlic. It is from the hungry girl cookbook. ENJOY! Hungry, Hungry Artichoke Hummus Ingredients: One 15-ounce can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained 1/4 cup fat-free vegetable broth 1/4 cup plain…
