Stevia is gross, but monk fruit sweetener is pretty good. I use the Skinny Girl brand liquid monk fruit.

I'd thank him, give it to a friend, and be more clear next time.

I think it's more 'action (and other personal choice that doesn't have any impact on others' lives whatsoever) offends *kitten*'. I definitely know some of these *kitten*. Many of them are my family. Many of them are people I don't even know. Recently I've become mostly inactive from a fitness standpoint. You all can be…

These are awesome! I didn't have enough coconut oil, so I used coconut butter, and they still came out yummy.

Also, at my elementary school, we had to go to the cashier before we got our food.

I don't like kids, and I still would never take food from them because their parents didn't pay for it. Hell, I wouldn't even take food away from an adult who hadn't paid their own bill. I would, however, refuse to serve an adult (but not a kid) who hadn't paid or pay for them if I could. But throwing it out once they…

You might also want to join one of the low carb or keto groups here. You will get much more...focused...answers.

First of all, I didn't. I said if his goal is ketosis, those are the numbers. Second of all, I can do what I want. That's the beauty of being an adult.

Uh...yeah. I'm going to have to make those.

For starters, I recommend Gary Taubes' book 'Why We Get Fat' if you really want to read. If you don't, 20 grams or less daily for extreme weight loss, under 60 to stay in a constant fat burning state (ketosis), depending upon your body.

Excreted as ketones. Converted into muscle. My body temperature also raised from low to normal, which increases calorie expenditure. And probably something else. But I'm not a scientist. All I know is what works for me and what doesn't.

Also, I've done calorie restriction with tons of exercise before and lost a minor amount of weight as well as an inch or so. It took a long time, and I was always hungry. With LCHF, I eat a calorie surplus, eat when I'm hungry, never work out, and I've lost more weight in less time and reduced my body fat. So, what you say…

No, but Taubes is about to do one that is.

Anybody who thinks it's just about calories should check out Sam Feltham's 21-day experiments where he eats a huge surplus of calories (5700) on a LCHF, typical American, and a vegan diet for 21 days each and gets vastly different results. To sum it up, he gained about 3 pounds but lost inches on his waist in the LCHF,…

Thanks for the advice!

I usually buy Kerrygold but tried this based on this thread. It tastes like pesticide to me.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to a yoga class. I weighed 103 at the time. When we got to the inversion part of class, the teacher told me I didn't have to do a headstand if I didn't want to. I asked her if I looked incapable of doing a headstand. She said: 'No, but you shouldn't do inversions or twists if you're pregnant.'…

I suck at posting.

First of all, that's not true about Atkins. Second, most of the other 'proof' you spewed is about high protein diets, not low carb/high fat diets. Third, nutritional ketosis and diabetic ketoacidosis aren't the same thing.
