cant go back in time. the best way to avoid muscle loss is a smaller deficit..and resitance training at least 2 x a week. there is a technique to avoid losing muscle. i do 8-12 reps of 4-5 exercises 4 times a week, 2 upper, 2 lower...even if you have lost muscle, and no way of knowing. it will only be a portion of your…

to be honest my guess would put you in the late teens early 20s body percent category. these scans are inaccurate. a dxa is better but still not 100% I think you would do well to see a pt.

sounds like a recipe for kidney stones

in order to improve your body composition you will want to lose body fat and the only way to do that is to have a deficit. You can weight train body weight 3 times a week to maintain and possibly gain a little muscle while you lose fat...as women gaining muscle is slower than for men. it is more efficent in general to…

it is a sucky but unfortunate fact of life that some of us carry less muscle mass and more fat. i am one of those people. my resting metabolism is probably quite low too. however i am very active so can eat 1800=2000 cals/day without putting on weight. i would suggest that you move more. as fat loss is your current goal…

Well done you for working on improving your eating habits. As someone with a history (a long one) of disordered eating and bulimia/binging I think I am qualified to give you a little advice. Eat more. 1100 or 500 calories is not enough energy. You will end up binging. You need to consume at least 1600=2000 cals a day…

i found a study that said a carb is not nec just a carb "https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18308431/"

No wonder you are tired! You are trying to drop below a healthy level of bodyfat also possibly steep calorie deficit
-
In order to gain muscle on a lifting program you need to be taking in enough energy and protein in food. If not you will be spinning your wheels. Therapy is a good idea. Weight lifting can be a really empowering way to help yourself deal with body image/stress/anxiety issues however you also need to be eating enough to…

I am a 5, 5 female and could easily eat 2500 cals a day. I would imagine you need to eat more to gain weight. Why the heck the yoghurt and the dry cereal etc. What about home made hamburgers, eggs or baked beans on toast omelettes, mueli bars, steak, gravy mashed potatoes etc. Do you have a history of eating disorder?

Kitten that hun! Be fat and have a life! No need to be skinny to live and love! Rock your now and Get counselling to deal with the issues behind the weight gain
-
i would imagine that you need to be careful re saturated fats and sugars. also if you dirty bulk then you can expect more fat gain than a more gradual approach
-
i think that you need help. from the outside looking in abnormal eating behaviour is your normal. I am qualified to have an opinion here based on personal experience. In order to change things sustainably and permanantly you need to make small not large changes. you are used to extremes, binging or fasting. you are still…

if you are doing light weights and high reps once your body has adjusted to the weight and it is not challenged, you are effectively doing cardio.

eat carbs https://www.issaonline.com/blog/index.cfm/2016/carbs-what-youre-skimping-on-could-be-hurting-your-slowing-down-your-workout

I think you should get some therapy. You are a healthy weight for your height. It is not ok to fate yourself over food or weight
-
Sure you can but a 300 cal deficit is quite small so you may find it will slow down or stall your progress
-
You need to cut a bit more imo. Get rid of the.pouch and the.lovies
-
No advice but you look stunning at both weights. Don't forget to enjoy the view from where you are now

I think that the whole taking steroids to look like an inflated Ken doll thing is just weird and creepy. Natural body building is a more honest sport

1200 is a starvation diet. My guess would be that you have been estimating your calories. If you want get get fit and lose a few pounds it should be enough to start exercising regularly and eating slightly less than maintenance. Ie round 1600-1800depending on activity levels.
