Never have got a low enough body fat!

I'm interested. I've read a few books by Tosca Reno, and I was losing weight while using her nutrition principles. Since going back to school in August, I've fallen completely off the wagon. Need to get back at it!

JP2 used to walk around the garden while he said the rosary. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me!

For a sweet craving, I drink fruit tea sweetened with stevia...For salty craving, I eat "Sea Snax" (not everyone's taste but I like the crisp saltiness with only natural ingredients & low calorie count). When all else fails brush teeth, drink water or, if it is night, go to bed early.

I find that for me the food choices I make have more to do with weight loss than exercise. Exercise is about 10% & diet about 90%. Don't get me wrong exercise is necessary for fitness & health, but to see weight loss diet choices are extremely important! Peace Amy

It's because, although many of our clothes are forgiving, our jeans shout in our faces! They cannot be denied! Peace, Amy

I knew immediately...My size 8 American Eagle jeans are my next goal! Followed by my size 6 Lucky Jeans that are draped over my bureau mirror! Scale vs size has always been my issue! Peace, Amy

<<<<<<BTW This picture is from last February. I gained 5 pounds from Feb to July. Then once school started in August, I stopped exercising. Ouch! The weight poured back on. 20 more pounds from August to Christmas. I only had 5 pounds left to lose at the time of that picture. Now I'm back to 25 pounds to lose. Exercise and…

I took measurements too. Too bad they were all increases from the last time I had logged my measurements back in July. Ugh!

Ihave a 64 oz. bottle in the fridge on days that I am at home. I take a Klean Kanteen to work on Mon. & Wed. and make sure I refill it twice before lunch and twice in the afternoon. I also start the day off withh 12 oz. first thing, before I even get dressed. And I end the day with several cups of herbal tea (no sugar, no…

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! My scale said 168 lbs. Grrrr! My goal is 135 lbs. At a pound a week I should be there by mid August. I'm hoping for a bigger initial loss the first week as I have been eating horribly over the holidays. I can feel the fluid retention. I know it would just be water weight but it is still less…

Love it! Nuff said!

I'd be in for a weekly challenge. I don't think I could get 3500 a week though. On circuit training days, MFP only gives me 244 calories for the circuit. My plan is 3 day circuit & 3 days cardio on the elliptical (weekly burn of 1500-2000 cals). I do everything at home & don't have a HRM so I have to rely on MFP's set…

I love Jillian! 30 day Shred & Ripped in 30 are my go to videos. The levels make me feel like I'm progressing. I understand she is an acquired taste. My daughter can't stand her yelling but I need someone to kick my butt & tell me to push just when I feel like giving up.

I weighed in this morning. First time since before the holidays...Ugh! I've gained 27 pounds since February. At that point I was 4 pounds from my goal. It is so frustrating that I know what to do to lose weight but continue to sabotage my efforts. I'm the classic yo-yo dieter. I lose but can't maintain. My goal in 2013 is…

My husband grew up on a dairy farm They are one of the healthiest & trimmest families I know. They also ate from their garden, raised their own meat and got a lot of exercise looking after all those cows! If I have to go a day with out my non-fat greek yogurt....I will not be held responsible for my actions. High-protein,…

I really need this. I gave up alcohol in Jan. and lost 10 lbs. At 45 years old, losing 10 pounds in a month is crazy for me. Slowly, and with the help of my good friends Shiraz, Pinot & Merlot ...those naughty girls...I've gained the 10 back! So, good-bye grapes!

I have a family history of osteoporosis. I "HAVE TO" drink my skim milk. I won't drink any other caloric beverages but milk is non- megotiable (& it is healthy).
