I'm making this tonight also. Sounds terrific!

Thanks for adding me! I was struggling with this issue a couple weeks ago and posted the same topic. I have upped my protein intake in the mornings and immediately saw results. You might want to try doing that and see if it helps you out. You've also had a lot of calories left over at the end of the day. I would suggest…

I know what you're talking about. Been there too. Feel free to view my diary. Also, if your diary is public, I can look at it to give you some pointers.

My dinner for tonight is 302 calories and it is 4 course. I completely understand where you are coming from. My children are 5 and 2 and they are picky eaters. Most of the time, I have to feed them something entirely different than what my husband and I eat. Feel free to read my food diary if you'd like.

Someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but one pound is the equivalent of 3500 calories. In other words, you would need to burn 3500 calories a week to lose one pound a week. Hope that helps.

Thank you everyone! I've downloaded the Couch to 5K app on my droid and will definitely keep you guys posted.
-
Thank you very much. Yes. I have been tracking my measurements as well. I normally track them on a monthly basis and have seen some results.

I know I've been telling myself that I'm not eating enough, but I just seriously feel full. I believe the comment about lowering the carb intake is probably spot on. What type of proteins - other than peanut butter, chicken, etc., would you guys recommend?
-
What type of peanut butter did you use?

I lost 60 pounds in approximately 9 months. However, I was not counting calories, and was just simply watching what I ate and working out. It's just going to depend on your body and literally what you take in (food) vs. what you put out (exercise). Hope that helps.

I don't know what brand mine is, but my husband bought ours from ****'s Sporting Goods about a year ago. They are the watch kind and cost about $25 a piece.

I'm with you. I've been struggling with the same issue for a several months now. I am interested in any feedback you get from this.

I'm making it now!

I tried WW and I lost ten pounds in 3 months. After I had my second child, I tried WW online. I still did not lose weight. All that WW did for me was show me that I could continue to eat whatever I wanted and not have to worry about working it off. I attended the meetings with a friend of mine who lost over 30 lbs. She has…

Mock Neopolitan Ice Cream Meal Replacement Smoothie: 1 cup Yoplait Very Vanilla FF yogurt 1 cup strawberries - sliced 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use EAS whey protein) 1/3 cup milk Ice - as much as you want to reach your desired consistency. I calculated the smoothie to be 305 calories. However, if I had used skim…

Mine says I'm 160 - and has said that since I was 16 too. I'm 11 lbs away from that weight, but at my largest I was 90 lbs away. One of my many awards when reaching my goal weight is to PURPOSEFULLY go and update my license with my new weight.

At the top of your screen, click the tools tab. There is a BMR calculator there. I would say you are pretty active.

I will definitely have to try these! Thank you SO much.

Weekly Goal:3500 Mon: 421 (Which I believe is a little high - stationary bike, jogging in place, jumping jacks, abdominal workout) Tues: 411 (Stationary bike) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned) Sat:calories burned (how they…

I had never heard of the Hungry Girl website until now. Thank you so much!

What does this mean?

You can weigh yourself as much as you want, however, your weight has a tendency to fluctuate on a day-to-day basis (which can be discouraging at times). My advice would be to weigh in once a week, early in the morning - before you start consuming anything and after you have gone to the bathroom (sorry if TMI).

I started playing Uno Boost last night...I think I'm addicted.

I'm joining in! My gym allows people to workout in their day clothes. I personally don't do it cause I can't stand the fact of having sweaty jeans. However, when I worked at an office, I would go to the gym on my lunch hour. I would allot myself 5-10 minutes to change into my gym clothes and back into my work clothes. I would just put my…

Thank you so much for posting this site! I have never heard of it before and it gave me a great idea of what my goal weight will look like!

I sound like a broken record, but if you are not allergic to peanuts, I would suggest chocolate rice snacks with a serving of natural peanut butter.

Hi Dee. What would you like help with?

Ok, so for breakfast I have two cups of coffee (to get me going) and a bowl of multigrain cheerios (my new addiction) or Special K. For lunch I had a meal replacement smoothie from Tropical Smoothie (only 215 calories) with whey protein. I had a snack before my workout - trail mix. For dinner I had my first ever Kashi…
