  • I've barely lost weight yet but people are treating me differently. I don't really think it's what you weight but how you come across to other people. When I fall off plan I'm unhappy and that's not attractive, but when I'm in control I feel good about myself regardless of the weight and that must show as guys and people…
  • this happened to me today, went to a shop and brought some weight watcher products, the cashier said "you don't need to diet" i said i did and she said" your not exactly as big as me" and i thought "aren't i?" because i still see myself as bigger than she was!
  • Donner kebab... soo good and my guilty pleasure too! i'm in the uk and they are everywhere, don't know where you can get them in the US though. Its pitta bread, filled with meat and salad and a choice of sauces... <3

  • Thanks guys!! i do loose focus from time to time, but who doesn't! All i know is i don't want to go back to how i was! I feel like a whole new person already and that will only get better the more i loose =] I tell you, my son is the biggest and best motivator i could have <3
  • Thanks, Ive spoken to her since i posted and explained that i want to be supportive but find it harder to do so when i feel like the whole thing is one sided. She agrees she should in future let me know when she cant keep to plans we have made. Were going to go back to the doctor next week, because last time they just…
  • Theres more to it than the original post, as i explained, now if you need to sit here and argue over the internet to make you life more interesting then so be it, i shall leave to to it (and quite frankly i feel sorry for you). Thank you to everyone who has given proper advice and tried to understand.
  • also, partying and the beach? once again that is an assumption. Just because i am younger than you, there is no need to patronize, we were actually taking my son (who i love to pieces- before you ASSUME i'm a rubbish mother because i'm younger than you) for a walk and a run around.
  • Eurgh, well i apologize for not writing out my life story, maybe its partially my fault for not doing so, but if all the facts are not outlined, you should not just presume the worst of a person, you should ASK for all the facts before criticizing, or just don't bother posting a reply.
  • Thank you for your advice everyone. That reply was totally unnecessary, you have NO idea what i have done to support her thus far, Ive got her to the doctors and helped her tell her parents, i cannot do much more, she doesn't want to help herself out of it and while i want to continue to support her, i don't see what else…
  • sainsburys do a low fat one xD not much cal difference but still better =] and Quorn sausage rolls are tons better, not sure if they'd be as good though!
  • Drink more water, i know your above 1200 some days but try stay above MOST days. good luck =]
  • Ok thankyou for all your info =] i will try to chill out a bit, i just don't want to ruin all the work iv'e done by exercising and eating more! I think i shall just continue what i'm doing, eating half the exercise calories, and ignore what the numbers say (hard for me i'm such a numbers person!) And in regards to the…
  • Because if you ate your BMR everyday and did no exercise you wouldn't loose weight. You would maintain your current weight. You need to have a deficit whether that is from eating less food, or eating your BMR calories and doing a lot of exercise.
  • The more lean muscle you have on your body, the faster you burn calories, therefor the more you can eat and still maintain the same loss, and therefor be able to keep it up for a longer period of time! If you want this to be a change in lifestyle and something you can maintain, you need lean muscle.
  • Well done!! i got an elliptical last week, have worked up from ten mins to 20 mins! It does kill me though! yay for NSV!
  • I do!! I have been trying to quit the last few days. Been 5 days now, but caved today and had one! Think someone to do it with alongside weight loss will help!
  • weight watcher can of soup are around 80-100 each and are super filling.
  • Maybe increase each meal by 100 so you dont end up snacking on un healthy foods to make up the calories, and/or have things like normal mayo instead of the lighter brands, or normal cheese not reduced fat cheese, semi skimmed milk not skimmed etc etc. Nuts are also good =]
  • I do this, and find that if anything, it helps me loose weight. It keeps my metabolism guessing because i am getting different calories sometimes. I go mainly by a weekly goal, not daily.
  • good ideas =] freddo- 95 cal flumps marshmellow- 30 cal shape 0% yoghurt- not exactly a treat but you should def try them, 71 cal and fills me up for SO long (as you can tell, i have a sweet tooth lol)
  • you should set you're calories out for the day... breakfast:300 lunch:300 dinner:400 snacks: 200 if he makes something you think has more calories than that then just don't eat the whole plate! i usually save my 200 snack calories for after dinner so i've got some left if i get the nibbles! nothing good will come of…
  • they don't do this in the uk =[ grrrr!

  • its hard seeing it yourself isnt it! ive got some kinda warped view that even if i reach my target of 12 stone im still going to look the same as i always have! i mean my mum tells me i look different, but thats my mum, she HAS to say that lol. we will all get there!- slowly but surely! you guys really are awesome =] - i…
  • Thank- you everyone- for the comments and for sorting out the picture problems lol. You've all given me that motivation i needed!
  • yeah, dunno whats happened =/ any ideas!?
  • in my opinion, id count it as yesterdays. as long as your calorie intake for the week equals what it should, and so does youre calories burnt for the week then all is good =]
  • i don't see how it could work the next day, but it does work long term. your'e body gets used to eating said amount of calories each day, and so your metabolism drops and your body uses less calories to do every day things. if you keep your metabolism on its toes, it keeps your metabolism high, and therefore burns more…
