well if muscle is the goal (which will also help lose fat) then free weights are the way to go. You should try and do about 45 minutes of cardio per day!!!!! Make sure you have that heart rate up. Use light weight and do many repetitions as that will tone your muscles. if you can, do your weight routine right after cardio.…

anytime is a good time to exercise lol. seriously though ive heard more times than not that cardio in the morning befor you eat anything is the best. i dont have anything to back it up its just what ive heard

well you need to do some serious exercising or cut calories drastically. to lose 3 pounds a week average you need to cut or burn off 10,500 calories a week but that is not good because chances are it will come back probably 2 fold.

are you eating enough? whats your resting metabolic rate? probably was salt. when i have a heavy salt intake sometimes takes me a week to reverse the damage.

im with you on this one. i workout like a madman only to sabotage myself with bad food choices...but im geting better. when i get the urge to eat i wait a few minutes and then ask myself if i really need this. eat to live not live to eat

I did shovel snow today and according to mfp I burned 481 calories in 30 min. Forget the treadmill I'm gonna go door to door asking if I can clean people sidewalks!

yup your body will enter starvation mode and start cannibalising muscle and storing more fat. everyone here is right you need at least 1200 cals a day
