I get motivation from the feeling I get from being outside when it's sunny and warm. Most of my weight loss has been from walking and diet. I get motivated to work out at the gym when I have a new podcast or audiobook to listen to. Blogs, myfitnesspal, friends- all good when I need outside sources of motivation.

Couldn't post Friday because I was camping in the sticks. But I am still 157, no change. I didn't gain while on vacation so that's ok at least.

I'm back from camp trip. Pretty beautiful area. I am tired though and can't wait to sleep in a real bed. My team took 1st place in the Beerolympics. Managed to stay active. Most of the events required physical activity and beer was optional but of course I had some.

Car is loaded up with camp gear! Going north of Grand Marais MN (the real sticks!) No signal up there at all, so no post tomorrow. Excited but also nervous about going crazy food and alcohol wise. Had an all around productive day, let's see if I can stretch it out now that I'm home. The plan is make dinner, clean the house, a little yoga and shower. If I can escape the evil Netflix!

I escaped the office potluck and 2 birthday cakes today! I had a small taco salad. I will definitely have a treat here and there, but it will be on my time, not because someone shoves a plate of cake in front of me.

Yep, another trip to the gym today. Came home and made vegetable curry. Going to bed full of delicious fresh veggies. And let's face it, I had some buttery naan too!

This morning I joined a gym for the first time guys! My husband and best girlfriend who wants to lose 200 lbs joined too. I'm so excited!

Skipped happy hour for Costco. All stocked with fresh fruit and veggies. Trying to make healthier choices every day.

Been a veg for 15 years. Beans/tofu, nuts, peanut butter, cheese, spinach and broccoli are decent, but sometimes not enough. When I start to feel low on protein (especially if I train with weights) I use a vegan protein powder like Plant Fusion.
