Same. I'm starting over too. I lost over 50 lbs and kept it off for a few years, but it crept back. I do like broccoli. I'll try not to put cheese on it.

Hey guys! I've been really stressing about moving and buying a house. I've been letting things slip. Your posts are helping me. Hopefully I can bounce back too. I've been pretty good about keeping the 30 lb wait loss, but I'll see if there's any damage when I weigh tomorrow. It's finally decent 40 degree weather here and I…

Go Kim! Great list. I'm getting close but I better hurry, the month is almost over.
-
Fun to see all the veggies you guys have been eating! I'm in the process of buying my 1st house so life has been crazy. I still managed to add a couple more veggies: green beans, zuchinni, mushrooms eggplant & BEETS! I loathe beets normally, but they were ok mashed in a patty with beans and other stuff. Decent Veggie…

Delicious baby kale!

Yesterday I made vegetarian chili with an array of fresh stuff like cilantro and black beans. Today was green beans sautéed in olive oil and garlic.

I miss the farmers market! I have to wait until April/May for my Minneapolis market to open. Can't wait. I had ginger and garlic in some carrot soup yesterday. Today tomatoes, etc. I'm at 16 veggies (not including potato lol) but I've also exhausted all the regulars now.

That zucchini looks amazing! I ate a potato. Yes, I said the dreaded p word! With a ton of broccoli and green onions. Maybe a little cheese too. I need rutabaga in my life.
-
Haha! Yeah, I always think of rutabega as hipster. I might be watching too much Portlandia. I admit to having a beet prejudice! My mom always made pickled and canned beets. I can't do beets. Good on you, bikegirl for giving them another try.

You guys are getting mighty fancy with your rutabaga and romanesco. I'll have to try to get fancy when I can get to the grocery store. Another veggie hummus wrap for me for lunch! This one featured sprouts and avocado, which is a great combo. Jalapeño and green onion for a little kick. And of course the regulars spinach,…

I made a hummus wrap loaded with different veggies. I tried red cabbage in it this time.
-
I had Byerly's salad bar. With spinach, romaine, broccoli, peas, carrots, corn and more yummy things.
-
Yeah, thank you! I was wondering if things like tomatoes and avocados would be considered. Good link.
-
Sounds great! I'm into it!
-
Great ideas! I use a large grill pan most often. Try zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper and red onion drizzled with olive oil. About 3-4 mins on each side then add garlic, pepper and a little lemon at the end. Sprinkle them with feta cheese.

Merry Christmas! Looks like everyone's hanging in there for the holidays. Have a good one!

Another check in challenge! Woo! Carol reminded me of the New Year's goals of last year. I forgot. I guess I'm pretty close, but the weight has been coming off at a pound per month for the last 5. Maybe I can use this as motivation to step it up and lose the last 3lbs by Jan 1st.

Fresh tomato sauce from your garden sounds amazing, heron! Howie, I'm jealous of your zucchini too (and PIZZA lol). Tinder, your hike sounds crazy and awesome! I'm planning for a few days off coming up. It definitely will involve some good hikes and deep woods! Maybe the UP of Michigan. I am also going to "get serious" in…

Yeah! It's been an amazing August everyone!!!

Not feeling well. Almost missed!

Just got home from a really long day. Good night everyone!

I would love to do a Tough Mudder with you guys, but I'm way up here in Minnesota! I'll keep my eye out for a closer event. I STINK at running though. Much more of a hiker/biker. A spring mudder or race could be interesting motivation for me to mix it up this winter. Yes, already thinking stupid winter ... fall will be…
-
Same problem with the evening snack Stacy. Hardest time of the day for me.
-
Carol, I had to look up Artic Enema. HAHA! I ended up watching a few clips. You Toughmudders are pretty hardcore. Does anyone know how many miles the courses are? I am not a runner, but maybe someday I could work up to it.

I went way off the deep end this weekend. UGH! Time to reign it in. Going to load up the new podcast and get myself in gear.
-
Yep tired here too. Got a lot done this weekend though. Thought I'd better do a quick check in before I fall asleep and forget.
-
Hope everyone's having a good weekend.
-
I feel you heron, stressful day here too! SO glad the work day is over and it's Friday. And YES BEER!!!
-
Pretty cool post beerbikegirl! So true, the scale can be your worst enemy. I went to swim aerobics for the first time tonight. It was surprisingly awesome! Proud of my friend for going. We suited up and killed it for an hour.

I bought more plants today. Then I moved stuff to make room for them, dusted and opened all the windows. Running some fans too. Fresh air in the house is great, I forget to do this!
