  • I drink wine every night at dinner and log it but I always make sure I stay within my deficit and have not have a problem...I'd rather do an extra 30 mms of exercise than not enjoy my drink! I'll be your first drinking dieting friend ;-)
  • I've posted this before - forget the scales. i had BF percentage taken today after 6 weeks of Insanity and have gone down to 17% from 24%..! have lost 2 pants sizes and guess what, only lost about 5 lbs. I'm 118 lbs and am smaller than when I used to weigh 105 which was my goal. go figure..!
  • in my experience weight has nothing to do with clothes size (to a certain extent) Its mainly your frame- I wear UK size 6 or smaller (US00) and I am not skinny. I'm 5'2 and weigh 119 lbs and have always been small. My mum used to weigh 105 and wear UK size 10 or 12..

  • honestly do not worry about weight gain. I gained 6/7 lbs on month one now I'm down 5 but the inches loss is much more..you will gain weight forget about scales pls..it's your muscles retaining fluids and other stuff going on. Persevere, the results are worth it and don't overdo on exercise
  • I hit that week 6 and found month 2 too hard. I took 2 days off, had lots of nice food and replenished my body. I was back on form. I also took extra day this week. Take a break if you feel you need it as it's your body telling you. I still got results!

  • i'm 5'1 and used to have about 1200 but recently moved to about 1400/1500. I exercise every day and I usually burn between 2000/2200 a day on average. When I upped my calories I started losing weight..
  • I put on 6 lbs when I started insanity..! But I'm now on week 6 and have lost a total of 4 and way more inches. The inches loss is much greater than the weight. Stick with it. Month 2 is v hard, i had to take a couple pf days off as I was getting burnt out and started using recovery formula.
  • Ive lost a lot around my tummy doing insanity but I find it the hardest weight to lose and yes you will get some lose skin unfortunately...you need to do a lot of cardio and abs exercises
  • the only way to lose it is to lose everywhere do high intensity cardio. i'm on week 6 of Insanity and my belly has gone down a lot. Then start adding some abs exercises although they will just tone your muscles but you need to lose the fat first

  • if you upped your exercise and your muscle are sore fluids will build up around them to help repair them. I put on albs just after starting a very intense exercise activity AND I always gain 2-4 lbs just before TOM so don't worry!!
  • hi, I know exactly what you mean! Im italian too and used to have wine with dinner..so I now use smaller glasses so I can have two glasses. Also I include it in my calories so it's not too bad. just do an extra 20 mms exercise! ;-)
