I was going to the gym at 270lbs and I am down to 177lbs because of it. No one pays attention to anything but themselves at the gym, it took me a while to learn that. The ones that did pay attention ended up being nothing but motivational to me. Go to the gym, you will not regret it!

I have banned soda completely, it triggers me to have more and more sugar. Even drinking non-sugary carbonated drinks is a trigger. So far 83 days no soda!

Possibly Patellar tendinitis? this is what I have. Ice after exercise, heat throughout the day when you feel it. A good knee brace works great. Also there are stretches and strengthening workouts you can do to help it

I just wear a heart rate monitor and log it under Exercise Notes. I do not eat back my exercise calories though

whenever I hit a point where I don't lose I will intermittent fast but eat the same amount of calories. Try fasting for 21 hrs and consume your calories in 3. So if your last meal yesterday was at 10pm you don't eat until 7pm tonight. Have a big meal that will use up most of your calories for the day. Seems to do the trick…

Not sure why your calorie goal is so high? I am 241lbs, set to lose 2lbs per week and my goal is currently 1510 calories per day. Started at 278lbs 1600 calories a day 2 months ago

Thanks for the link, awesome article!

This is very helpful and I may follow this when I get to the 165-180lb range but right now my focus is on losing the rest of the fat. From what I have read it is very difficult to build muscle and lose weight at the same time. I am lifting a bit right now but that's mainly to lose weight and maintain as much muscle as…

I'm going to Mexico in 2 weeks and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. Bacon for breakfast every morning, deserts after dinner, drinks all day! When I come back I will be back on the grind. A vacation is a vacation

I give myself one day per week to eat over my given calories. Sometimes I will only go over by a few, sometimes by like 1000. It is not a cheat day unless you are in a caloric surplus. The key to doing this and not failing is to not give in after the cheat meal or day is over which is not easy.

you would maintain your weight

Opened, no shakes.....gummy vitamins, but no shakes.

So I decided to start Tapout XT today. Movements are a little awkward but I got pretty much the same burn as an average Insanity workout. Anyone try this program? Please share your results
-
ummm where does everyone live? Over $200 per week just to feed me and my wife. I'm in Philadelphia.

I am not one to believe in workout DVD's but I am starting my final week of Insanity tomorrow and I am down 40lbs! It really is a great program and the best part about it is you will never get to a point where it gets too easy

sorry about the language in the video. Just read the post and thought of this video. I personally haven't tried fasting but I hear it does work especially if you have hit a plateau

I'm more than 7 weeks in and I'm down 36lbs from when I started (starting weight 280). No pics to share at the moment though. I like it because there is always room to get in a better workout. Most fit people struggle with the workouts so you will never reach a point where it gets too easy. Start off slow and watch how…

On my 7th week of Insanity but not doing the meal plans for it, just the workouts

I know you were joking about the gummies and yes they are adding to my sugar problem but I figure they are worth since I am consistently taking them where as I would conveniently forget to take real vitamins in the morning lol Thanks for the advice, I am going to try preparing breakfast when possible and see if that helps…

I put my weight at 280 and when I signed up on here, I put 2lbs a week and sedentary due to my job (sitting at a desk all day) and they gave me around 1750 calories for the day. I finally weighed myself again 2 weeks ago and they changed it to 1580. I do insanity 6 days a week (half way through my 7th week) so that burns a…

Thanks for the responses and taking the time to look at my food journal everyone! I am going to try and prepare more of my foods more although I do struggle in the kitchen and especially with time (work schedule) but I am going to start preparing breakfast and cut some of the "packaged" snacks and replace them with fruit.…
