I just googled cannellini sauce and found this recipe. I'm so making this! Thank you so much for the idea! http://thesimpleveganista.blogspot.ie/2012/09/cannellini-cauliflower-alfredo-sauce.html

I rely heavily on canned beans and lentils. Use garbanzo beans to top green salads. Also mash them up with celery/chopped pickles/spring onions and light mayo and put it in a pita. Use lentils to top green salads and make quick soup--chop and soften carrot-celery-onion mixture then add can of cooked lentils and veggie…

I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles. With so many people commenting on your body I could see how you could feel confused, insecure and self conscious. I hope you have support for your eating disorder and that you can turn to more than just this forum for help. That being said, I offer you this: You are worthy of love…

I made this for dinner tonight and it was delish. I omitted the first step around the onions and oil for the quinoa (saved time and calories). There are other good, healthy recipes on that blog as well. http://www.onceuponachef.com/2011/08/quinoa-with-corn-tomatoes-avocado-lime.html

Congratulations! Wanting to start a family is one of my motivations for getting healthy. So encouraging to hear your good news.

Reaching 200 was probably a huge milestone that you have been aiming for for a long time--now that you are there your motivation is wavering. One way to overcome this is to maybe go on maintenance calories for a couple weeks. Give yourself a break. Be kind to yourself and appreciate how far you have come. Use the time to…

I think most people, especially women, have issues or hang ups with their weight and body image. I think it makes reactions to weight loss vary wildly. I usually just say thank you to the compliments that are well meaning and ignore the compliments that are clearly motivated by something other than good will.

I find lots of good, healthy recipes on this blog: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/. I also find a lot of ideas on www.foodgawker.com. Most of the recipes aren't very healthy but I just tweak them to fit into my diet.

I buy fruit and veg that is on sale and then work my weekly menu around it. I eat beans and eggs for protein. I make my own bread. I buy no processed food except for corn flakes and soy milk. It is inexpensive to eat this way but it can also be a lot of work to turn raw ingredients into a meal. I know that not everyone has…
