  • I buy the Much More brand pack of 18 mini calci licks. They are only small iceblocks, that have the Heart Foundation red tick on packet and they are only 217kj each, (about 50 calories approx) and 7g sugar. I know they aren't something you can throw in your bag if you are out and about but it satisfies my ice cream…

  • Hi can I join? I haven't done one of these challenges before so this is probably perfect for me to get back into exercising regularly. My goal for September is to walk at least 30 minutes everyday. I missed the 1st Sept as we had horrendous wind and rain but will start from today. If I am accountable for my activity then I…
  • Checking in again.....brain gone all haywire again and eating too much. Ugh! Exercise has been good as usual, just got to get the head straight again. I know if I'm not careful my clothes will start getting tight again and I don't want that ever, ever again.
  • Each day I am doing 1 thing to improve what made me fall off the wagon since Christmas. I feel much better stress wise, I have been able to get my exercise bike back into the spare room instead of out in our cold garage, so am using it everyday instead of once a fortnight when I could be bothered. Exercise wise, I am…
  • checking in again. How's everyone going?
  • yes I understand what you mean, I start out with great intentions on checking in daily.
  • Hi, haven't checked in for a while.....ready to restart myself with tomorrow being the 1st of May. I am setting a goal of reaching my goal weight by the end of the year. That gives me 7 months to step up and finish what I started. Already lost a significant amount of weight so you'd think I'd kick butt getting the rest…
  • I'm still here, you are welcome to message me everyday if you want, as you know I am having a bit of a struggle as well, we can be a bit of support for each other.
  • I'm Cheryl from the Horowhenua. I really need to make myself accountable now, I lost 30kgs in the past 15 months and have put around 5 back on since Christmas. I am having a few personal struggles and am finding my eating healthy is nor very consistent. I am not having any issues with the exercise side of things but am…
  • haven't checked in for a while....got a bit slack there. Still struggling with my eating..exercise is not a problem, I am enjoying that part of my day and I start the day off eating sensibly but blow it by mid afternoon. I need some new strategies to fend that off. :\
  • It was good thanks,I was really happy with my time. I use MapMyWalk app every day and going by my speed on my daily walks, I estimated that I would finish about 10 minutes after my actual time on the day, I did feel as though I pushed myself more because I had to keep up with my husband lol
  • Gets discouraging when that happens Michelle, keep going though and you will probably see results on the scales very soon.
  • checking in....having a better day eating wise, still room for improvement though.
  • bridgieNZ I am in the same boat...I lost 30kg, starting from Nov 2013 and Christmas happened and I have gained about 3 to 4 kgs. I am having a bit of trouble getting my head space back into that determination again, something will click again very soon I hope, if not then I'll make it click!
  • I come here everyday to check it out but I don't always post.
  • Hi, I didn't do too much damage over Christmas, but just that little bit I put on was enough to give me a fright and start focusing again. :D
  • I'd love a fitbit, might save up for one when I get back to work. I seem to be quite consistent with my activity luckily, I'd hate to think of where I would be weight wise if I wasn't with my Christmas snacking.
  • How's everyone else going? struggled a bit today but pulled through
  • checking on for saturday 3rd January, getting much better at managing my overeating, got my exercise spot on. I feel much more positive today :)
  • Had a good day today....looks like I'm the only one using this thread lol.
  • The first day of the new year was a much better day. Got my daily walk in nice and early, so it was done and out of the way. Eating was much better, had a tiny slip up but couldn't be happier with my headspace today. (*)
  • bit of a disaster for nye...I drank way too much wine, I'd hate to see the kilojoule count on that one....Plus side is I've been out and had my walk nice and early and I did some extra distance.
  • Done! Today is New Years Eve, going to set my goals for the new year tomorrow. Fresh start. I know I can do it.
  • eviebee03, I can so relate to you, I have put on about 4kgs over the past couple of months, and I am really struggling to get back on track. I just found this post in the NZ group forum so I am going to use this to check in daily. Maybe if I make myself accountable to this group then I hope I'll be alright. There's no way…
  • I have lost 60 pounds so I have been buying good second hand clothes that only have been costing between $5 and $10 so it's not so expensive to replace when I lose more weight.
  • My photo is my profile pic <<
  • I have a quote on my fridge "If I quit now, I will soon be back to where I started. And when I started, I was desperately wishing to be where I am now"
  • My doctor told me today I don't need to take blood pressure pills anymore
  • I discovered that I can actually run now
