I had this last summer, I had to take a few weeks off of running, I ended up doing alot of elliptical, also got a foam roller, and a support band whuch seemed to help- now I do not go w/o it on a long run. Also get those muscles massaged as much as possible.

I get this every summer from running- bruising under the toenail and then it falls off

I had a lot of problems with blisters when I first started running, I started putting vaseline all over my feet b4 I go on a long run and seems to do the job- because I rarely get blisters.

That sucks, sorry!! I have had many running injuries- due to my own stupidity in overtraining- So I feel your pain. But press on, just remember this not an end all. You will get better, in the mean time just keep tracking your calories and you will be fine, you do not want to overeat and go backwards. You can do this!!

I do notice he promotes a helluva alot of supplements- never the same one over again, wonder how much he is getting paid for that.

I started running about a year and a half ago, did lots of 5Ks last spring & summer and did 10K in September, I am shooting for a half marathon in October this year, feel free to add;)

Yes- eat as close to your exercise calories as possible. I plateaued to many times not doing this and did grasp this concept until later.
