Before - A day at the beach at 15 1/2 stone (217 lbs)- During - Running (wtf?) a half marathon at 11 stone (154 lbs) - Almost there now! - Christmas Night Out at 9 1/2 stone (133 lbs) - I don't have a current pic, but I'm now 9 stone (126 lbs) and not so worried about the scale. I ate below 1400 calories once and about…

You look so happy and healthy now. Well done on all your hard work!
-
Do I count the calories of things I've shoved up my nose?
-
You have done such a fabulous job - well done. You look fabulous!

ka-bumpity-bump-bump-bump!

A big hooray to women who aren't afraid to eat! Food is not the enemy, people who insist on lowcal diets are.
-
Well done on all your hard work! Congratulations on becoming a healthier you. :flowerforyou:

Whoo hoo for lifting! That's a fabulous 12 lb difference. Keep up the hard work ... it is so paying off.
-
<bump> just because I think more people should see this!
-
I've been watching your progress since I've been on MFP, but that last difference is a-ma-zing! I've been thinking about buying the book, but seeing your success has just pushed me from thinking to doing!!!
-
Excellent! And I suspect you look absolutely amazing in them, so you'll have to put up a pic for us!
-
Good Lord, I wish I was that full of awesome!

I lost my first 3 1/2 stone by joining MFP and learning how to power walk. I only started running after I walked my first half marathon (a charity power walk) and I still wanted to cover the distances but wanted to do it faster. I used to hate running because I didn't have the cardio stamina, but after all the power…

Well done on your success this far! Keep up the momentum and enjoy seeing how far you can go!

I wish I'd taken accurate measurements with the same tape measure from Day 1. I wish I'd kept all the measurements somewhere (MFP doesn't hold enough detail for me) safe rather than on random scraps of paper that I'd binned out of frustration! When those times of panic hit, I would tell myself to relax and trust that the…

<bump> Because I'd love to hear some answers as well!

I am 5' 4" 37 yrs old Starting Weight 217 (January 27, 2011) Current weight 128 My original goal weight was 145 so I could hit the top of the healthy range. I never really expected to meet that goal since I've been overweight my entire adult life. But thanks to MFP and some amazing friends I've met here, I've surpassed…

You look amazing!!!! And when I wonder why I keep pushing myself, I will look at the pics of your abs and arms and remind myself - "that's why!" Your pictures are just what I needed today.

I acquired a RealLife friend thanks to MFP. I've got several friends from another website (not fitness or weight loss related) that are also on MFP ... they probably know more about me know than most of my RealLife friends! I quite enjoy having a mix of Real and Unreal friends.

Excellent job. I suspect your spawn are very proud of you and happy to know they'll get to have you around for a bit longer. Oh, and huge kudos to you for posting your "unders" shots.

You've got some very high cal/high fat meals which isn't necessarily bad, but you seem to be missing out the balance of fruit and veg. Try bumping up your fruit and veg intake (there are sooooo many options out there), so you can have slightly better nutritional values.

I've started practicing using the TRX suspension system in the hopes that will make the regular plank that much easier. So far, I'm at 1 minute 33 seconds in the strap.

Pringles and Doritos have been replaced with Hula Hoops (in 25g bags) and pretzels. Actually, there is an opened tin of Pringles in the house just now, but I'm keeping well clear.

This is not a race, so stop trying to lose the weight as quickly as possible.
-
And seeing as how that was how I spent my teens, 20s, and early 30s (<sings> "I need your help, Barry Manilow ..."), I would really like the chance to be cool and trendy now.

For me, I set a goal weight that I wasn't sure I could achieve, but wanted to because it put me in the healthy range. My ultimate goal weight will be whatever I finally achieve when I've stopped losing weight. I'll stop trying to lose weight once I've gotten rid of the last of the flubber over my abs!

Excellent success! Keep up the good work on your journey to a healthier you.

I like mine to pop in my mouth, so I usually cook them on low for about 10 -15 minutes. Recently I bought the whole oat groats (much cheaper) and just give them a quick blitz in the coffee grinder. Again, still just 10-15 minutes to cook. Love them with peanut butter or cinammon and apples or bananas or malt extract. So…

You look so amazing! You look like you've gotten younger rather than aging over the last couple of years.

Okay. I'm going! I'm going!
