  • I was not as fascinated by conspiracy theories as he...and this is a sign of my level of intellegence, apparently...and some other stuff
  • You can manually add your own exercises, I used an app called calories burned calculator that has a ton of workouts preloaded, most of jillian Michaels stuff is in there, you enter your weight and time and it gives you a rough estimate. I used that and ate a a deficit. I haven't used her dvd's in awhile because I injured…
  • Agreed. Just politely decline and feel good about yourself for doing so and don't worry so much about how people react. They'll get over it.
  • Actually in my experience the heavier you are the quicker it comes off. It's always the last bit that is the hardest. Good luck to you. Just stick to it and don't set unrealistic goals.
  • The protein shakes were for the first year only because in the first year those who have had the surgery can't eat enough and lack of protein causes serious side effects. I was so happy to go off those, although it did go closer to 2 years on them because I had trouble eating in general, but they were soooooooooooooooooooo…
  • I have what you are talking about but only on the left side. I was extremely overweight 411+ lbs at one point in my life and I've deduced that its because I am right side dominant, meaning I did more working with my right hand, right leg while I was gaining the weight. When I lost a large portion of it, it turned into a…
  • My grandfather used to say "You're wasting away" to jab at how fat i was... *rolls eyes*
  • You are definitely not the only one who has gained weight back after surgery. In fact, the statistics of those who do have troubles later on are kind of shocking. I don't have figures but I have spoken with and read about many many people who have gained some, all or more than what they lost back. Myself, I had RY done in…
  • I agree with the last poster on this. You have to enjoy yourself, just be reasonable. You only live once and it's not like this is an every night occasion. I'm not "dating" anymore but what I do when I know my mate and I are going to a party or out for the evening with friends is I do some extra exercise and take a long…
  • Mine is coming off slower, definately slower than the initial year after GB. It is all gonna depend on your amount to lose and your activity level. For me I have to watch to carbs. I eat about 1/2 of what MFP gives me for the day. I also stay around about 1500 calories when I can. Depends on how sick I get on any given…
  • One minute muffin HOLLA loooooooooooooove them! It's 1/2 a tsp baking powder and I use Rumford reduced sodium and add 47g of blueberries and 25g of ground flax (you can just grind whole flax seed in the your grinder/vitamix/blender instead of buying seperate flax meal. They are delicious and make you poop like a champ -_^
  • If you have a smart phone download this app: endomondo. It's pretty basic gps app but it takes into account. weight, height and it follows you with gps so it can tell elevation changes, average of how fast you walked your entire workout and time. Give you calories burned and you can link it with a HRM. I use it to get an…
  • I would agree, and why would you stop working out? There are hundreds of workout videos to do to keep up with your toning. Stopping just never occurred to me.
  • second the notion. I have a 3/4 sleeve, im 32 and i don't regret it one bit. Who gives a crap what it looks like when I'm old! If my grandkids ask I'll tell them grandma was a bad a** end of story ^_^
  • I agree with what most of everyone said on here. Lower your carbs and intake of packaged foods will help. Calories in Calories out is only a half truth...i think some of what you need to be eating is healthy fruits and veggies, and lean meats. Cutting out processed and packages foods can be hard but it's worth it. You are…

  • I recently changed the baking powder to the Rumford low sodium which drops the sodium content notably. I also used a scale and just did 25 grams of flax and it makes it more moist. Today I tried blueberries and wanted to share.
  • I have heard this from others too. It's a personal goal for me to stay til on Level 2 til Monday because I really wanna be able to do the plank thrusts and plank jacks the full minutes with Natalie. I did half and half yesterday. I am looking forward to level 3 though. I bloody hate planks.
  • I've been on birth control for over 10 years now via lo dose pills. I have tried so many but high dose hormones have done bad things for me. I look forward to being off them for good within a year or two. I did depo 1 time for 6 months and it made me insane, I was already morbidly obese at the time so I don't know if it…
  • The biggest problem I've ran into is that mixed drinks are hard to keep low cal. I am not a party-er at all in anyway shape or form but I do go to 1 or 2 parties a summer and out to eat occasionally. I would say that you don't have to give it up if that is what you desire but you can tweek things. Such as instead of having…
  • Um... i have 2 and i alternate back and forth until they smell. I know that is probably gonna gross people out but... wtf ever. I've been doing it for over 10 years and my boobs haven't fallen off. ^_^
  • I don't necessarily think it's too much. Insanity is very intense or so I've heard, (I'm not ready to do those videos yet.) Just go by how your feeling. Try it out for a week every other day or every 2 and see how you feel. I bet you'll find yourself doing both more often than you think, just don't go balls to the wall and…
  • Um the OP stopped replying and closed their food journal.
  • I mean basically she is claiming if you add more water it reduces the calorie content. Essentially the way she is cooking it some of the extra water is going to evaporate as it does when you cook it with the proper amount of water but... I'm not sure if there is any truth to it.
  • I exercise. I find Shaun T's hip hop abs works wonders for me in the last day or so for me. Shaun T will have you cracking up in no time, for real. Also a nap or what I like to call " A life pause" always works wonders. It's hard sometimes and if you really need to eat something I would suggest some fruit or a veggie.
