Bump! I am so cooking this!

They are worth logging to keep an eye on your nutritional intake. I log everything :)

Oats! Porridge in the morning, Oatibix and hot milk last thing at night :)) That's what I do. Warmth and slow release energy is so good.

Hi Emily, My name is Belle and I am anorexic. I had three bouts in my younger days and now, in my 40s it kicked in again. I too have outed myself this time round. I figure it's my best hope for recovery. I have stopped hiding under baggy clothes and pretending it's not happening. EDs are deceitful ilnesses and I am trying…

Zumba does a dvd that targets areas.I don't know how good it is though. I'm getting it as I want to target upper body. Watching this thread for myself :) Thanks for posting.

Higher fibre, for one thing. I do a half and half mix with rolled oats for my porridge.

I have the same issue. I add Udo's Oil (flax seed oil) to my food 3 times a day (3 x 40kCal). It's so healthy and I think it tastes gorgeous, kinda nutty. It's still not enough, but it helps. Avocado is good too if you like it.

@Aesop - Yep! Budget and gorgeous. Do put the carrot in next time. It adds moisture. I thought I may try grated fennel bulb or celeriac instead of the carrot. The variations are endless. Glad you liked it :)))) @punkee - two are still virtuous ;)

Sweetheart, you know this is not healthy. Starvation mode kicks in under 1200, you may already have hit it. Your weight loss slows down. You'll burn muscle instead of fat and get seriously sick. I know this as I trying to recover from anorexia. Furthermore, when you start to eat properly again you'll retain water, put on…

I feel for you. Been there done that! I have to say my degrees owe a lot to coffee, but here's what I would eat for studyathons: Before you start, porridge. Low GI, stamina and fullness last for ages. To pick at: pieces of grilled chicken breast (usually spicy) Protein also makes you feel fuller longer. Third, for an…

Hi Terry, I'm also working on healthy food and love my exercise (but can't do too much yet cos I've been ill). I'm loving the effect of a really healthy diet. MFP is a brilliant way to track your intake, nutrition and exercise output. I hope you find it as good as me :) Belle

Chicken would work equally well. And I'm working on a tuna burger....
-
Sounds gorgeous! An Irish Coffee (my favourite) turned into a pudding :))))

Hey, Paula :) I'm in Ireland too. Yeah, MFP gives you such a good idea of what you actually put in. I keep adding Irish brands to the database ;) Best of luck with getting the loss going again :) Belle

Just as soon as I win Euromillions! It would be my first spend :)

And I found the lack of lethargy/bloating when I switched to wholegrain carbs. We need carbs too...
-
Thank you both. Yes we need fat! I need to put it on (I only have 3% fat in my body) That's why I was asking. I whack in good fats, like Udo's oil (yum), 3 times a days...
-
Also logging your exercise is very very useful... It all puts you in control of your health

Hey Lizzie  If I kept eating the way I was, I'd have run into serious trouble too. I find MFP brilliant for making sure what goes in to me is right. Especially having the phone app to log while I'm out. Very good luck with it. Belle xx

Thanks Caerith :) I can't manage high fat dairy at the moment because my digestive system is in tatters, but I am whacking in Udo's Oil three times a day, to keep fats going in. Hopefully I'll be able to manage cheese (mmmm) again within a few weeks. I think it'll seriously help. So I'd need 1500 cals per week, over my…
