  • OP you can by dunkaroos on Amazon, and the little chocolate filed koalas too!
  • Jacksonville area here
  • Honestly the biggest factor here is genetics. If you're naturally endowed, you'll most likely stay that way. At 113 lbs I can't imagine you having much weight to lose...you could also incorporate chest exercise to enhance perkiness and increase muscle mass.
  • I generally do 250m or 500m sprints after my back day; 3-4 of those and I'm completely gassed after lifting.

  • Would also suggest foam rolling to help loosen your muscles. This has become a must do for me before my leg days; I've seen an increase in mobility and also load size since making it a part of my routine.
  • Combo of both...protein shake made with fairlife milk about 30 minutes after then eat my dinner about an hour after that which contains a protein, carb and small amount of fat.
  • Agree with ryry; reverse pyramid training has helped me push through plateaus on all of my big lifts. Also enjoy the pump you get at the end from the higher volume.
  • Not so much swelling as it is increased muscle mass from lifting. It's near impossible to work out your glutes without activating your quads. Why are you upset about larger legs if it's muscle?

  • Most people experience a pull in their back at some point if they squat or deadlift, so you are not alone. You're on the right track with motrin; I would also suggest heating pads for a few days to help loosen the muscles as well as additional stretching or foam rolling. A lifting belt will also help support your lower…
  • If you're working out 5 days/week you're losing a good amount of salt in your sweat too OP. If you're now tracking your sodium there's a good chance you are eating considerably less than before.
  • These are all opinions, and forgive me for not fully valuing the opinion of someone who doesn't know the difference between "waist" and "waste". Based on all of your responses it seems you are dead set against any sort of supplement including whey protein. Unsure of what "contaminants" you continue to refer to unless…
  • Doesn't Thanksgiving fall during bulking season? Bring on the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, casseroles and green beans then drown in gravy. End meal with 1/4 pumpkin pie beneath a mountain of fresh whipped cream and you've got yourself a meal. Disclaimer: I will also be doing a 1.5 hour swimming workout the morning of.
  • Tobacco/nicotine are a definite no no due to their affects on metabolism and lung function. Cannabis on the other hand has several useful and medicinal properties when used responsibly. There is even a gym in California opening that openly promotes the use of cannabis either before, during or after exercise. For example, a…
  • Nicotine is also a stimulant. You're most likely neglecting the synergistic effect from the caffeine and nicotine interacting. No different than combining alcohol with cannabis; when combined they amplify the affects of each other because of the synergistic effect. Or any combination of substances for that matter.
  • half dozen eggs
  • You're using it to supplement your daily protein needs, correct? A very basic breakdown of whey protein powder types: -whey concentrate is the most basic and cheapest to hit your protein goals -whey isolate is more rapidly absorbing and generally used post workout but can be used any time of day -Hydrolyzed whey (also in…
  • For me it's the salt at Olive Garden that makes me do a double take. Their salad dressing has almost 600 mg in 1 serving!
  • Honestly, I just really like women. Age, height, ethnicity whatever. I think the comedian Ron White put it best "Men, back me up on this. Once you see one woman naked...you want to see all of them naked." Age gap is no different than height gap, weight gap or dating a different race. It shouldn't matter.
  • This is an extreme situation or if you already have predisposed condition. High protein, high fat and low carb works just fine. OP eat the whole egg do not discard the yolk, half of the protein is in the yolk along with all of the beneficial micro nutrients of eggs.
  • I would say I only "prep" my lunches for the week and cook breakfast/dinner fresh every day. But meal prepping for the week (done on Sunday after shopping) includes roasting 2 5-6 lb chickens, 5 sweet potatoes/Japanese sweet potatoes and enough vegetables for each week day. But I plan for every meal and snack when grocery…
  • I've always been active; swam for 16 years including college. Got into lifting after that to keep in shape and haven't looked back. Long term goals include benching 225 for 4x12 and squatting 225 for 5x12.
  • I feel you on wanting to always be active and it being difficult to take a rest day...BUT...I promise you that in the end they are 100% worth it and 100% necessary. As you begin to get stronger your muscles need more rest to recover from lifting; greater fatigue is associated with worse form which is associated with higher…
  • If you're doing GVT correctly you're going to need 2 off days for your muscles to recover and rebuild properly. I did a 6 week cycle of GVT and NEEDED 2 days off or my workouts suffered the following week.
  • Definitely no more than 1 scoop, maybe even 1/2 scoop and then some dextrose powder if you're 60 minutes out. A better option would be to eat 4 oz chicken breast and 1/2 c brown rice/sweet potato 2 hours prior.
  • I'd love to see some scientific evidence to back this up...or because I have had alcohol in the past week perhaps I would not be able to assess it properly.
  • about 4.5 years; she just turned 22 and I'm 26. The largest gap I had was 15 years though...she was 38 and I was 23. Definitely a cougar.
  • Wow, this is evidence of just how misinformed the public is thanks to the government and alcohol/pharmaceutical industries. Tobacco: 480,000 deaths/year Alcohol: 88,000 deaths/year (not including alcohol related incidents) Cannabis: 0 deaths/year Now you may not be into numbers but I'm pretty sure this is sufficient…
  • If the human race was not meant to eat meat then we would have different teeth...and a different digestive system...and ability to raise livestock for food/hunt. Pretty sure our ancestors were called HUNTER-gatherers for a reason.
  • If you are getting headaches that could be due to dehydration; when supplementing with creatine it's recommended that you increase your water intake as well.
