  • I having a scene that covers my back of a giant red dragon destroying an ocean town and a castle. The meaning of the tattoo is more with the dragon itself that symbolizes...Power, Greed and Vanity! Got this a few yrs ago, though the meaning of the dragon isnt really in tune with how I live my life now...its stiff a bada**…
  • I would be interested in seeing what your exercise routine is as well. I noticed on the few days of the diet that I looked at, that you didnt add in burned calories from that. Other than that....man, I dont know how anyone can survive on 1200 calories....LOL.
  • Here is a Turkey Meatloaf recipe....just cut it in half. 1 pound of lean ground turkey1/4cup liquid egg whites (or 2-3 egg whites).. .veggies chopped (I use carrots and celery- about 3 celery stalks and 2 large carrots) 1/8 tsp sea salt (dash) 1 T garlic powder 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp chili powder 1tsp dry mustard 1/4 tsp thyme…
  • You can make chili, burgers, taco, sloppy joes all out of ground turkey. You can add an egg and some breadcrumbs and other seasoning and put the meat into muffin tin and make miniature turkey meat loaf. Pretty much anything you can do with hamburger you can do with turkey.
  • Thank you. I was wore out, it was my first ever 1/2.
  • My favorite workout by far to date was my 1/2 marathon and i burned over 2500 calories doing that 13.1 miles is 2 hrs and 18 minutes!!
  • I would say yes, but because of the differences in distance from the camera and the angle of the photo it is hard to tell. Just IMO, try to take photos from the same distance and angle and when asking for opinions it will be much easier to see differences.
  • The 1480 is what MFP calculated for you in order to meet your weight loss goal per week. So, if you set it up to lose 2lbs a week and you eat 1480 calories a day and no more....in theory, that should give you a 2lb lose. Of course thats just in theory.
  • Has to be TapOut XT!!
  • I log all of my food the day before. As I meal plan everything that I will consume the next day...minus dinner. So, as I pack my breakfast, lunch and snacks for work the night before...I just log it all in. Saves a bunch of time because with my schedule I may not have time to log it as I eat it. Then at the end of the…
  • I started running to get ready for my entry into the Army at the age of 34. I started out like a lot of others...slow and steady on a treadmill and slowly build up to running farther and faster. I am now 39, stationed in Hawaii currently and I am addicted to running. I have ran over 350 miles since June of this yr. Ran my…
  • They say that to lose weight at a pound a week that you have to create a caloric deficit of 500 calories a day. That will be 3500 calories a week which equates to a pound. If your goal is to lose just over a pound a week then what you are doing is fine. what you have to watch for is the difference between your BMR and your…
  • Great Job, Keep up the great work....
  • My last cheat day was a trip to Chili's with my wife. I had a bacon cheeseburger, homemade mac and cheese and some bacon cheddar fries.
  • As far as weight loss and running goes.....I find that an alternation between the two works best for me. The increase and decrease of heart rate is important to raise your metabolism. I have incorporated sprint/speedwalks into my routine and it has helped greatly in both my overall speed and in the duration that I can run.…
  • I have a cheat day once a week. I still keep it sensible but I go over on what my calorie intake should be and I have continue to lose. However, I do not consume a lot of empty calories which is consumed in wine and beer. Especially if that one day is in severe excess. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish fitness…
  • Also, there is more to it than just eating the alloted amount of calories that MFP is saying to consume. If you are aloud 1500 a day and you eat those up with crappy foods...then you may lose weight but still feel like crap and be unhealthy. What foods you get your calories from is more important that getting those…
  • I add about 1/2 of what I put in the pan to my calorie count. I also under count my expenditure on my workouts. That way I know that I am i a win win situation at the end of the day when it comes to my consumption vs. expenditure of calories.
