Thanks a lot for your detailed answer. Your assessment makes a lot of sense. I am reading all the resources I have available and I do agree that it is vital to get control over my blood sugar. It is still a struggle in the morning to have good numbers.

It seems that my eyes are tired but did not get damaged from diabetes. This is good news for me. Still, the eye doctor gave me a new prescription for reading glasses.

Thanks a lot. I am seeing my endo on Sat and I hope to have a new assessment of some sort because with 1500 Metformin daily my BG is always high in the morning.

Thank you all for your kind words. I have a new appt to see the dr this Monday. I feel exhausted. Diabetes had such a blow on my health.

I kept mine in the 6s with tow spikes over 7 - in 4 years. I'll have mine check on June 20. I am a bit worried. I feel that my blood control is not great.

You can join T2 diabetes group. Sometimes people with T1 post there too. We offer support to each other on this difficult life challenge and for the most part many tips work for both T1 andT2.
