You've all got me depressed now, my fitbit refuses to talk to me, I keep putting it down and picking it back up but nothing!!!!!!! I go to bed with it every night and this is how it thanks me, very much a one sided relationship! Lol

I too have IBS and have done for a number of years. At first I kept a food diary to try to discover my trigers etc but in the end, they found out my trigger was stress. I have looked at my whole life now, not just my diet. Keep a diary as Whisky sugested but not only of how you were feeling but perhaps along with the foods…

I was talking to a friend who said five weeks before the day you should be aiming to run 5 miles a day, the following week 6miles a day, the next 7 miles a day. Interesting. Not sure I totally agree with the article. I could understand how it puts the kidneys under pressure but I do feel better when I drink more water. It will be interesting to see other people opinion on this.

Thanks everyone, I'm sure anyone who looks at my food diary will tell you that I do Eat!! My current BMI is 24.2 I was around 230lbs and I am now 150lbs. I dont intend to loose anymore but need to tone up some.

Sounds interesting. I was reading up on the fitbit that mfp has just linked up with but it appears to be USA based. I have a polar hrm at the mo but it keeps loosing my heart beat so I may be on the lookout for a new one, I'll keep an eye on this thread. Has anyone used the fitbit?
