Skinnytaste.com's Chicken Cacittore (except I use chicken breast instead of thighs) over some quinoa.

Interesting. Needs changing definitely makes sense. Why they increased the goal is still a mystery! I may stick with my original... I can't see me DYING to have those extra 60 calories!

I've never had a HRM, but I do have a Fitbit Flex. Every six weeks I switch medical rotation sites... every six weeks, my activity level has changed. (I went from running around in an ER to a more laid-back dermatology office...) I fluctuated from very active to what I would consider pretty sedentary, but my Fitbit logs my…

Lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, Smart Balance Omega-3 oil, and a TON of garlic salt. Pretty much every day.

^I was going to say the exact same thing. I think a lot of BC issues are trial and error. I had a friend who used the patch and her boobs became ENORMOUS; I used a pill for a while that made me completely bonkers. I'm a big fan of Mirena as a long-term BC- 5 years, lighter periods, and you can take it out whenever you want.

I think I'm average- 5'4", and bouncing around 134-136 right now. But, what I've noticed is that you, in the pics that show faces, are exuding such confidence in your smiles. I wish to aspire to that. As for the faceless  - you gals are rocking it, too! It takes guts to post these pics. Everyone should be so proud. I…

Fit into a pair of pants that are one size down from "the usual." Actually... I guess this new size is now my usual

"Tea-tox" I'll be honest- judge if you must- but I drink "detox" tea... I think it tastes awesome; I really like The Republic of Tea's "Get Clean." I do notice a difference when I drink that after a rough night- but I'm 100% sure that it's because it's increasing my water intake  Anyway: Get Clean =…

I'm a little nervous- I'm basically in my last 10 lbs, which are the hardest!! I'll give it a go, anyway- THIN-SPIRATION  CW: 135 GW: 125

Agreed. I think getting her into physical therapy will be a good start. Thank again. (And I do believe that you're right in that "7" could have been a completely contrived number by the doc... who knows. In all seriousness 90% of my grocery bags are heavier than 7 lbs!) Appreciate your time.

I'll talk to her about getting her a PT consult. That's a really good idea... (you'd think that after working in that field for almost 3 years, I would have thought of that!) When I see patients, PT is almost always my first thought, haha, but I guess it's different when you can't be as objective... Thank you, again.

As far as the push-ups, I was thinking wall- and I thought that their might be a different between push/lift. If there isn't- my mistake. Doc's advice was word-for-word. (I'm not sure what you mean by fictional- that I'm lying.) Uterine fibroids, ruptured ovarian cyst, and an increased endometrial lining (for age)- but I…

Completely fair enough- I just didn't know if there were some exercises that people knew of that would be able to maintain upper body strength without lifting. Thanks :)

What's enough rest? I was just having a similar conversation- and I'm not sure what I should be doing. I had a pretty intense workout the other day (didn't realize it at the time) and I could hardly move yesterday. I had trouble getting up from a sitting position, trouble getting into a sitting position- I was a hobbling…

This is oh so clever.

I believe in this. I weight myself every day. Yeah- it sucks to see the number on the scale sometimes (I worked my *kitten* off yesterday, but felt dehydrated a lot during the day and probably didn't get quite as much water as I should have- though I did get 8 glasses). Today I am 2.2 lbs heavier than I was yesterday, but…

Yeah- I've had a hard time with some. Yesterday, I had New Holland's El Mole Ocho, and there are a few New Holland's in the Database, but that was not one of them... I ended up looking at ratebeer.com and using their "estimate." I do like the idea of the app though. It's going to be important when I start getting closer to…

Thank you so much, ya'll! Since my MFP and TDEE are pretty close, I think I'm fine. Get me right- I think I'm doing okay (I don't think 9 lbs since September is too bad, right?) but, like jacksonpt said, I had no idea what was going on for a minute! Thanks again!

The only concern that I have with them (I use No Salt occasionally, and my husband uses it all the time), is that instead of sodium chloride, it is potassium chloride. Too much potassium in your diet can cause irregularities in your heart beat. Maybe I would run it by your doc? A quick phone call can't hurt. Good luck!

yes, close enough  , and I'm going to med school so I'll be able to read x-rays, at least!

taken, 35, retail Edit: it'd be fun to know how close or how incredibly far off we all are

Would you mind talking a little bit more about it? I've heard of intermittent dieting, but I do not have a lot of knowledge about it.

I was going to join in the fun and games... but it seems like no one is allowed to have fun. Ever. Everyone let's be miserable always! Or... is that exclamation mark too enthusiastic? Let me try again: you-miserable-no questions-deal with it.

I agree. Some gyms won't allow jeans, or "cut offs," or shoes without rubber soles... they can be pretty strict. If not- do what you have to do! Just a thought: maybe you can store a workout outfit at work, or in your car?

I think it's important to note that not everyone will have the same reaction(s). For example: my father-in-law lived off of diet drinks for the longest time, and then one day became deathly ill (this story is from my husband, and I can't remember what disease they feared he had) and once he switched to unsweetend iced tea…
