  • porkerhouse (the sirloin cut on pork). I work at a butcher, it looks pretty familiar to me. do a google image search on "pork sirloin steak", looks close to me. it'll be tougher than pork loin chops, and not as flavourful, so don't overcook it.
  • less is more... i use products with no fragrance, designed for excema and sensitive skin. it helps a bit, but i have alot of scarring now.

  • perhaps you need to come up with one statement that you say to her each and every time she puts you down (in a nice way or a nasty way). something like, "if you don't have something positive to say, don't say it". or "wow mum, you really hurt my feelings when you said that". figure it out, and repeat it, exactly the same…

  • pfft, a cream to get rid of fat.... so if i put a whole tube on, will i lose that massive spare tyre i have? i guess it works as well as all those "lose weight" pills out there...
  • i would volunteer, probably in a large hospital, and move around until i found the area that i really wanted to volunteer in. maybe even some school volunteer work, listening to kids read etc. all very important stuff, but it all sucks when you "HAVE" to do it.
  • i am the same, doesn't matter if i put the treadmill on number 7 or number 11, my breathing is just crazy. i can't seem to control it, it doesn't seem even, it's like it's so un-nautral, the pace is wrong, it's too fast.... hate it. i'm pretty fit, and can go at it for a long time on anything, no problems with an RPM class…
  • yuck, it's just a bit gross. especially considering that the whole point of it, is about "the bonding / attachment" both are looking at the camera. it may be a little bit less gross if they were staring lovingly into each others eyes, showing the mum / child bond... the thing that grosses me out, is the fact that he's…
  • all i can say is you need to force yourself to somehow get over it, and eat them. they are good for you, if you don't eat vegies, you're health will never be brilliant. just like anything, you have to slowly de-sensitise yourself to them, one at a time. it's all mental. start with forcing one bite of things, and eventually…
  • i don't judge. i'm happy to have bald, happy to have hair.... But, i would, though, never be turned on by someone with a shocking receding hairline, comb-over, toupe, or anything trying to hide it. if you are bald, come out and be proud, no point trying to sit in the closet pretending you've still got hair. bald men can…
  • wow, that is some serious delusion going on there, or some serious sarcasm... i've never heard an adult chick say they need to gain weight.
  • i like to know that they are customising my workout for me. if they remember my injuries, or my things that i can't / won't do, and work with me, instead of giving me a "standard" workout. i have bad knees, therefore, jumping lunges etc. are no good for me, they need to remember that, and not give it to me, find…
  • nice one!
  • even if life isn't worth it, who has the b@lls to top themselves? really? honestly, you have to try and be satisfied with life. as you get older, your body deteriorates, your mind usually deteriorates, your health deteriorates, people think your old, slow, senile, crazy, and every now and then, someone might actually give…
  • yep, body weight. work on perfecting the push up, it takes a long time, but never stops working, small adjustments keep making it work tricep dips squats lunges planks, side planks
  • oh my god, there is a huge difference. you've done great. one tip if you really want to see a difference, stick your shoulders back, chest out and take another photo and compare the 2, you'll notice a difference immediately. Shoulders back, chest out will make you look another inch taller. it looks to me in the first…
  • i was considering having it, but after having no periods for the last 3 years (thank you IUD), i think i'll stick with that. I love not having a period, and find it quite disgusting a thought to ever have to go back to them.
  • keep going.... it's not what you do this year, it's what you do for most of your life that will make or break you. keep on exercising, keep on eating well 80% of the time, and over time, the results will show. you don't need to obtain perfection, just good health, the rest will follow.
  • i thought egg yolks were high in cholesterol? everyone seems to think that those expensive margarines that are deisgned to lower cholesterol work.
  • some people don't have control of their teeth. some people have very strong, healthy, good looking teeth, and some just don't. a friend of mine went to the dentist the other day and was told he has the teeth of a 50 year old, but looking at them, they look nice, straight, white, and he smokes... i wouldn't look twice and…
  • If everything else was ok with the guy, why not?... Of course, you are going to take into consideration his priorities when deciding on getting serious, but it's the same for anyone. Once you get to a certain age (pretty much over 30, everyone is either married, divorced, gay or too young to waste your time with. So you…
  • I get where you are coming from. either side of the coin is hard. when you are fat, people are telling you, "oh just eat some vegies and go for a walk"... they treat you like you are lazy, have no self respect and stupid. when you are skinny, they say, "just eat something will you?" and treat you like you are vain and…
  • YES my feet are so much less sore (i have platofaaciitis) and they were sooooo painful before, even tho the podiatrist told me my weight didn't contribute to the problem. i don't get heartburn every time i eat a spicy meal or red wine. i have alot more energy in general and am not having to drag myself out of bed and force…
  • i got a similar thing when i first started. when i was eating loads, my bowel movements were very regular. then when i stopped eating so much, it slowed it down. so i started eating a few dried prunes every day (3-4). that was enough to get things moving. i also have the occasional glass of benefiber when i feel like i…
  • Pearl jam opened by Ben Harper in Adelaide, outdoor at memorial drive, in the summer, with the sun setting behind the stage...... 2 awesome artists, and nothing beats an outdoor gig, in the summer, plenty of drinks, a couple of spliffs.
  • i started straight out with RPM / spin classes, straight out within 3 months of starting my weight loss programs. sure, i felt like i was going to have a heart attack, but i didn't. high impact classes, i don't do, because of my knees, but anything else, you can have a go. it's all mental, nobody is concerned about you, so…
  • i tried it once... totally not for me, i felt like a total knob... i like exercising, and not much of a dancer... so there you go!
  • well the thing is. if tax payers don't pay for her surgery, they will pay for her open heart surgery, diabetes medical treatment, joint replacements. etc. etc. etc. so the govt fund all that relates to the illnesses that come from her being fat, but not for her just being lazy, greedy and fat. so which is cheaper, fixing…
  • how often are you doing weights? maybe leave a day or 2 inbetween if you aren't so your muscles can repair.
  • it does bring up interesting debate. I think the removing TV and electronic devices is a superb idea. i'd be battling my partner more than my kids I think.... But those people who say their parents behaviour / attitude affected them. So did mine, but i can't use that as an excuse. I was forced to finish everything on my…
  • no i wasn't defending, i totally think it's wrong to humiliate a child even further. just asking to hear what people do, because it's clear there are thousands of overweight, unhealthy kids out there. what do you do if you have a tv / games junkie child that doesn't want to exercise? do you force them? or let them be?
