Occasionally. Red Rock Canyon is about 30min away which has world class climbs. But it’s usually crowded / spots taken. 20yrs should, you’d be alone. These days for me, I mostly powerlift and snowboard.

It might not be for everyone, but mine is definitely running mountains. The only thing I do at home (exercise) is yard work and plop into the pool.

That sounds right. I’m 5’ 11 165 and I usually get 145cal/mi. I can raise it to over 200/mi if I’m doing hard hill runs. Highest I’ve seen yet was 1,180 for 6mi hill tempo.

Thanks. Ya after refueling all night, I woke up today feeling normal. Just have to remember to limit my outdoor exposure before 7pm. (112f today). Counting those days till Fall hits haha. @rheddmobile Best of luck finding a solution and quick recovery. Doesn’t sound fun.

Did some work in the heat today. Unfortunate timing. Drank almost 2 gallons. Still dehydrated. Physically drained. Scrapped my night trail run for 18 strides at the park. Felt ok after, but I was definitely 70% there. Nice sunset though! Was still 101f :D 8/27: 2mi August total: 133.2mi

Really didn’t want to deal with the heat (109f) So treadmill it was. And it was a long one. Progressive run right into a speed hike mountain simulation at 13%. 3,050ft, 9.2mi. 2 hours. 8/26: 9.2mi , 3050ft August total: 131.2mi

I just manually enter it. If you run with incline, you can use online calculators to determine the altitude climbed. The only thing for Strava is that manual entries are not counted for leaderboards, challenges.
