For purely losing weight, portion control is more significant than macros For burning FAT, carbs/sugar definitely matters. It starts with understanding the individual goal. I stopped doing keto because after all the money I spent attempting to stock up on the MCT and grass fed butter for the bulletproof coffee, I HATED the way it made me feel......stomach pain, runs, jitters, headaches. The diet did kill a lot of my appetite, but I knew it was not maintainable.

Can always use new friends. But I definitely need more low carb/high fat/keto friends. Struggling with the snacks. Not eating enough calories a day because it seems like the whole world is high carb. Carb Cyclers are definitely welcome as well.

Not if its habitual. I can control the hell out of my appetite except after 7 pm. That's why I am trying hard to be asleep by nine. As football season draws nearer, this will become more and more difficult.

If you are a sugar burner like moi, sugar alcohol > sugar for metabolism. But that's not the same as saying its good for you. So I kinda agree with both points, diet is better than non diet, but water is even betterer. (its not a word but you know what I mean ;)

Ive been doing the calorie counting and carb cycling thing for the past 5 years, and my weight keeps doing the elevator thing. Just getting into ketosis over this July 4 weekend., I tried low carb before with some success.....im enjoying keto, but need to get my body to adjust to the butter coffee....ahem

When you see a woman's before and after pics, Im that guy who is more likely to prefer the before pic :p . That being said, confidence and femininity is way more important that being 100% in shape. I do like a woman that enjoys working out.

All I have to contribute here is that muscle burns fat. Ive always been told to train to get stronger, and let everything else take care of itself.
