That totally fixed the problem! Thank you so much!!

Thanks! I'll give that a shot!

I don't usually. While on the elliptical it read my heart rate at almost 300bpm two days in a row, I normally hover between 150 and 160bpm during cardio. Pretty sure I would be dead if my heart was going at 300bpm. Decided to wear it the entirety of a few days to see what it did during the course of my normal day. Figured…

Late reply or not. Totally gave the answer I was looking for!!!

Was it an accurate burn or optimistic? Is it worth the fee after the free trial is up?

I did really well with a 100 cal english muffin, two egg whites, two strips of turkey bacon and 1/2 of a 100 cal guac packet. Really good and I wasn't hungry until lunch. Not 100 cals, but around 200/250.

When I opened my first packet of IP food I thought I was going to starve. Straight. Up. Starve. But, because everything has that extra protein in it I find it so much more filling. A bowl of IP soup with my 2 cups of veggies is a really filling lunch, especially with my unlimited lettuce. Just be aware that IP allows NO…

First and foremost, YOU ARE A TOTAL ROCK STAR!!!!. 91 pounds?! That's amazing and I am in total awe! Secondly. I keep falling off the wagon on the weekends. But at this point, I'm just wasting my time and money by cheating. So, like you, I'm back at with newfound motivation! If you need a push, message me! I'm happy to…

I'm big on egg beaters (1.5 eggs worth), sandwich thins, two slices turkey bacon and 1/2 a 100 cal guac packet. SO GOOD!!

When I was doing the slow, watch what I eat and get my *kitten* off the couch weight loss, I could only weight once a week. But with IP, I found that if I don't have a daily reminder that the weight is going down, I'm more tempted to cheat here or there.
-
Quite honestly, you'll be done in no time. I've lost 13 pounds in two weeks. Be aware that IP leaves NO room for cheating. I had to learn that lesson twice. Undid all but 1 pound of loss each weekend I cheated. Just stick to protocol and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I've been eating a little of my dinner protein with both breakfast and lunch. Helps me feel not feel hungry throughout the day, and I still get all my protein.

Thanks guys!

So long as it's once in a while, not a slip back into old eating habits, splurging is fine. Everything in moderation.

Thanks guys! Today was a bit of a disaster. I had a late start and left my IP breakfast and lunch foods, as well as my fresh additions, at home. I did have a shake and a packet of soy nuts in my desk, so at least that wasn't too terrible. Still though, not being able to leave to get some salad and working in a dead zone…

Even cheating, you still lost. That's amazing. Today is my day one on IP. I'm super excited, and kinda scared.

Of course, logging your sleep might be a major eye opener. I just got my Fitbit and this is the screen shot of my sleep pattern last night. O.o

Add me if you'd like. I log everyday (some days are back log) and I'm usually on and updating a few times a day.

Don't know if anyone is still looking here, but I have found the Biggest Loser DVD's. I may not be a fan of the shows, but when I'm doing a workout DVD and someone bigger than me is doing burpees, it really takes away my excuse of "I can't do it".
-
I don't see my name on there. I had posted on the first page that I wanted in. Do I need to message you or what do I need to do to get in on this?

I'm in! What do I need to do?

My Mother In Law is like this. She gets upset if you don't eat what she has yet will not listen when I try to explain I am trying to change my lifestyle to a healthy one. What I've done is ask if she is making a salad or wants me to make one. If she's not making one, I bring one, even if she asks me not to. Then I just…

I'm totally up for daily prodding. Message me if you want do do this!

Because weight can fluctuate day to day and change due to sleep and stress the day before. I only count my Saturday weigh in's as my actual weight. That being said, I do weigh everyday, right out of the shower after my morning cardio. What I'm tracking is that day's weight, the quality and quantity of sleep I got the night…

Oh! One other thing. They're a little pricey, but those vacuum food savers are great for leftovers. Once a week we do a leftover night and whatever we don't eat goes on divided heavy duty paper plates and vacuum sealed in gallon sized bags. Then, toss in the freezer and you have a homemade TV dinner, or grab and go lunch.…

Alton Brown has a really good tofu recipe. If you go to www.foodnetwork.com and search his recipes it'll come up. It has an egg batter over it. My husband HATES tofu and ate about 1/2 a brick before he realized what it was.

I've noticed a lot of options for cooked veggies on here assume some sort of oil for cooking and/or butter after. If it's just steamed then there isn't much difference, sauteed in olive oil will add, other oil will add more. As well as any butter added for flavor after the fact. Make sure when you log, you're picking…

While in Culinary Arts we used this program, MasterCook, it is around $20 and available for either electronic download or in CD form. It comes preloaded with about 20 different cookbooks, and you can create your own, it will let you scale the recipes to feed however many people you want, you can compile menus and create…

Thanks guys! After reading everyones suggestions I find myself thinking that I should know all this as it seems like common sense. Ah well, undoing 30 years of bad eating habits doesn't just happen. Since we are looking to do a lot of camping this summer (with our 4 yr old, so nothing too extreme), I'll be taking a lot of…
