I am on day five of a sweets fast. I could not go a day without cake or cookies and could not stop at wanting only one. I drink a lot of flavored coffee, eat frozen grapes, and substitute the sweet cravings with no sugar added fruit cocktail or pears.

I have dealt with this situation. I brought a mini radio to work and stayed under headphones. Plus, I took lots of walks to separate myself from and her tirades. Believe it or not, deep breathing exercises can help as a stress reliever.

Cafe Special Community Coffee with 3 packets of Splenda and 1/2 tablespoon of Skinny Syrup (0 calories and 0 sugar). I alternate between English Toffee, Salted Caramel, and French Vanilla. Sometimes I add French Vanilla flavored Splenda packs.

I do step classes 5 days a week and absolutely love going. It is about consistency. Our classes at the Y stay full on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

It was a wake up call when I had to start taking blood pressure pills. Diabetes and strokes run in my family. I needed to become healthier. A secondary reason was that I couldn't recognize myself in photos. It was difficult seeing the progression of my "fatness".

I love them. I mix them in a vegetable stir fry with salmon for a tasty meal.

I absolutely love step aerobics and cardio kickboxing. I HATE running/jogging and try to avoid it as much as possible. I also hate weight training but have found two classes at the gym that incorporate it, so I am getting it in that way.

I've been on Depo for 8 years. I gained 40 pounds over the years but a lot of that was because of my poor diet and eating habits. I am still on it and have lost 65 pounds. There is no birth control that will help you lose weight.?? It's all about diet and exercise (calorie deficit).

That's usually water weight from too much salt. I can gain up to 10 pounds in 2 days from too much salt.

I did it through meal replacement shakes and eating less than 1200 calories. I don't recommend it. Adjust your goals to extend the weight loss time.

I hated buying ugly clothing in the plus size section just because they fit. Plus, I hated buying jeans and pants with elastic. I love shopping in the misses department and purchasing cute outfits that accentuate my new-found figure.

Definitely moderation. I tried absolute restriction which lead to me constantly thinking about what I couldn't eat. I incorporate some sweets into my meal plan when I have some "extra" calories. This prevents the binge effect.

I was pretty much a social drinker in the beginning. I have a small drink about once or twice a month with coke zero. At home where I can control the amounts and my caloric intake.

Not quite. I am 39 but turning 40 in December. I already consider myself in the 40+ club. I can't deny it any longer.

You can add me. I started at 260 and my goal weight is 160. (exactly 100 lbs to lose). I have lost 65 lbs and am currently at 195. 35 more to go!! But I weigh myself everyday in order to determine the cause of any fluctuations.

I tried it and it didn't work. I was exercising at least 5 times a week and the scale increased by 10 lbs. I am back to logging in food now.

I love being told that I look like a "completely different person". Also I like being called "Skinny Minny". Even though I am still in a size 14 (from a size 20), I am starting to see myself as a skinnier version of me.
