It took me about 35 lbs. I started losing in the face, thighs, and boobs first.

I was were you are now. Look at my picture on the left. That's me at 260lbs. I have lost 70 lbs. I did not recognize myself and didn't understand how I got so big. I did not see the weight when I looked at myself in the mirror everyday. After looking at that picture and asking myself "Who is this person"?, I decided to…

The easiest route would be the thrift store. I buy most of my things at the Goodwill. <<<Always try on items. My newest rule is if it doesn't look flattering on me I don't buy it.>>> I used to buy things because they fit. Found out they weren't flattering on me so I wouldn't wear them. Good luck. The thrift store has…

I tried having some clothes altered (dresses and suits). I went from a size 20 to a 14. They clothes had to be completely remade so the price was not worth it. Now I go to Goodwill, Ross, and Wal-Mart. If going to a major Department store, I only look at the clearance racks. I have also accepted clothing from friends and…

This post was written just for me. I have been struggling with binge eating for the last month. I discovered some cocoa flavored peanuts and instead of eating the recommended serving size of 40 I find myself looking at the bottom of the can after 30 minutes. I CRAVE the!. At one point I had about 25 cans in the pantry.…

I have had IBS for 17 years without knowing the name of it for 8 of those years. I tried taking medicine which only relieved the symptoms at times. My triggers are fried foods, gravies, salad, most of the green vegetables, and dairy, I am from Louisiana so fried chicken, pork chops, and fish sums up what I would eat at…

Pure water weight. That happened to me every time I eat boiled seafood and some soups. Flush yourself out by drinling plenty of water.

I totally get it. I always thought I was a healthy eater because I love veggies and would pile my plate with them. But then I would eat the same portion if served pasta. Learning about portion size has saved me unnecessary and unwanted calories. I didn't understand why I could eat a whole bunch of broccoli with no weight…

I have used Splenda (sucralose) everyday for the last 9 months with no aftereffects.

I eat fish at least 4x a week (Cod, Mahi Mahi, salmon, and Tilapia). I normally squeeze lemon or lime juice on it and serve it over pasta. I am getting some wonderful ideas on marinades (other than low-fat or fat-free salad dressing). The fish stew receipe looks great.

I am 5'7" and currently weigh 195 lbs. My starting weight was 260 lbs and I was in a 2X / 20W. I currently wear a size 14 jeans/pants, but a 16 or 18 / XL top. I am very top heavy even after losing 65 lbs. The boobies deflated a little but they are still there.

I am about to turn 40 and absolutely hate that phrase also. A lot of people feel that if you weigh more than 250 lbs, the weight will "melt" away quickly. I started at 260 lbs and am currently at 195. I get asked all of the time how I lost weight so quickly. My response is through changing my eating habits and through…

I have a love/hate relationship with working out. I hate it before I do it and during my workout but I love the feeling I get once I am fininshed. It makes me proud that I got off of the couch and accomplished something most people only talk about doing!!! Ahh, those endorphins.

I am jogging at 14/15 mins depending on if I have distractions. 10 mins seems super fast to me right now!!!

I used "crappy genetics" as my excuse for years. Stop letting it be a crutch and let it go. Embrace the new you wherever the weight loss shows. Others will still notice you have shedded the pounds evern in your "problem areas". Most of us will never truly be satisfied with how we look anyway.

After 65 lbs of weight loss, I went from 42 DDD to a 36DDD. I always considered my boobs my best feature. I look in the mirror and try not to feel depressed. I have always been top heavy so they were my shining feature. I wear a 14 in pants and a 16/18 in shirts. Unfortunately, the breasts have sagged and look droopy.…

I started out at a 42 DDD, 65 lbs later I am at at 36DDD.

I can eat sweets in moderation, but anything greasy goes straight through me. I hurt so badly that I don't even try anymore.

I am reading the posts laughing too. My triple chin is now a double chin. I have lost some of my boobs--from 42DDD to 38DDD (no loss in cup size). I have never had a booty, so no losing there!! The 1st place I noticed the weight loss was from my thighs. But oh my--that stomach!!! I have lost inches, but no matter how many…
