Ok, went to Best Buy last night to return my UP for a different size & decided that if they didn't have a bigger size then that was fate telling me I didn't need it... LOL! Turns out they didn't have a bigger size so I just returned it and decided I'm over my gadget need for now.... although, a friend has the bodybugg that…

I've been checking that one out also, thanks:-)

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I got mine with a gift certificate so maybe I'll exchange it & try it out to see how I like it. Sounds like it's all a matter of opinion & likes. I'm not looking for perfection in numbers or complete accurracy but I do have an HRM that I wear so I'd expect it to be close to that in…

I have thought about that gadget also! The price kind of made me forget it but I am rethinking that:-)
-
I do have a Polar FT7 HRM & like it but I'd like to see more of the sleeping information & such also. When I originally read about it I thought it would be doing the same thing that I already get from the HRM but it seems like there is more to it and there is more visual feedback which I really like.
-
haven't heard of that, I'll have to check into it!
-
Yes, do share!
-
I am bummed about the calorie thing but I do that here so I think I'd be ok about that part of things missing.
-
Cool, I'm very interested to see the sleep information for me cause I don't really ever get a full night's rest (as recommended) so I'm curious to see how many hours of deep sleep I do get for the hours I am sleeping:-)
-
I'm just a gadget junkie and like to see the visuals so I was hoping to get more of a visual on what my days consist of then I can get from my Polar HRM... which just provides me with numbers:-)

It's a tracking device here's a link to the website: http://jawbone.com/up

Water does make a big difference! Your cells need it, your body needs it and it helps curb the appetite if you drink it throughout your day & with meals.
-
I think some people can splurge on a day or at a meal & get right back to following their plan with no issues while others simply can't & that's where the difference is. Some people just can't do it. I know in the past if I veered off my routine even a little then it was like I was out in the wild and scavenging all I…

You may not be eating enough to keep your body fueled so your metabolism is just burning too slowly. Talk to your trainer, they should have ideas on how to help you. Maybe add more protein, eat smaller meals more often, drink more water, cut down on some of the exercise for now (not cut out, just a little less each day).…

Wow, the nerve! Who asked her to watch anyone anyway??? It's not like people ask to be watched so if she hates it so then she should crawl back under her rock, I'm sure it misses her cause the rest of the world certainly won't;-)

Sounds great, always looking for uses for quinoa so I'll have to put this on my list of things to try!
-
LOL.... you should just tell them you eat smart people food & since you are a real person that makes it real people food also:-)
-
Hear hear! LOL... I often work out to them thinking I am going to just do what I can do but wishing that just once they'd have overweight people on them cause even those doing the unadvanced moves are fitter than I ever will be! The Biggest Loser DVDs I would think would benefit most from having some of those people who…

I use one on iPhone called ScatterBrain, it's pretty cool.

I was recently diagnosed as hypothyroid... well back in Nov of 2010 anyways:-) I did have a weight gain but I've always been overweight so I didn't realize that the jump was due to the thyroid malfunctioning. Anyways, they figured it out and put me on the hormone & I was on that for a solid 6 months before I decided to…

I so want a hedgehog! Maybe that should be my reward when I get to a certain number lost:-) I was thinking about trying shred since so many seem to be doing it and they keep going back so it must be working for them. I'm not sure I'd stick to it though... maybe if I had someone to report to I guess but that would mean I…

Oatmeal! You can eat it hot or cold and mix so much in with it to make it great; like fruit, nut butters, coconut, honey, brown sugar, etc. I'm sure you know how to cook it for warm but cold is so simple also. I usually take a cup of rolled oats put it in a bowl that I can cover Add 1/2 cup of milk. I use almond milk but…

I eat this all the time although I never thought to use yogurt. I simply take a tupperware container & put in 1 cup regular old fashioned oats, 1/4 cup bran oats, 2 tblsps flax seed, and then 1 cup of almond milk. I let it sit in the fridge, mix it up in the morning & then dish some out into a bowl and top with whatever.…

Great will do, I'm usually wiped out by 2 or so if I take my meds early in the morning. I seem to be ok to do a little in the morning so I'll just work around it as I can. I did get the 25 squat lunges in today before things went haywire so check! Under my cals & got all the water in:-)
-
Wow, these are going to be some challenging things for me but I will try to get them all in. The rule is that you don't have to do them on the day as long as they are done by the end of the week correct? I may have to take my time or skip a day until I can get my hypothroidism in check. I have an appt Monday & I'm hoping…
-
I have hypothyroidism also and right now the weight loss is messing with my meds so I need to go back in to get those regulated but losing hasn't been a problem. I do have problems getting all my calories in though, I'm not sure what you have to lose but if it's a lot it won't matter too much in the beginning but as you…

Done with Wednesday's challenge. Woot!
-
I'm sore, from yesterday, but loving it and it wasn't so hard doing my walk & 100 jumping jacks just now so I got the challenge & the rest of the bonuses down... they'll be done by the end of the day! Love the motivation I'm getting from everyone!!

Got the extra mile in, was under my calorie goal & got in 128 oz of water. I did eat dinner at home (muffin meatloaf, yum:-) I also burned over 400 calories today, woot!
