I'm with you :) I'm still in my 30's but I wish I'd look like those competitors too :) I just started a new program with a new coach who finished 2nd in a bikini competition and it's now clear to me that is what I want to achieve!!!

I lost around 30pounds but i'm struggling with those last 5 pounds since.... forever!!!! I do Stronglift 5x5, go to gym 3 times a week, I love power yoga and I love to run! Feel free to add me as well :)

Wow thank you all for your answers! I'll certainly go and peek the group on MFP! I'm excited to have a program for the gym other than improvising here and there :) I'll try to be as consistant as I can be since I'm also training for faster 5K and 10K... and eventualy half? Thank you :)

ha ha!! Some thread for a "stupid question".... :) Water is good for u, on so many levels! Just drink it! "The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day."

I run, 5 to 10K, 3 times a week. Does that make me a official runner? In between, I practice Ashtanga Yoga, wich I love, love, love! I track all my activities trough Map My Fitness. Feel free to friend me with a word!

You could try de PB2! Good taste of peanut butter less the fat and the calories! Also try the PB2 chocolate! Miamm! If you're trying to cut on body fat, you should not neglect the amount of fat in food even if you count your calories properly! That is my opinion!

Been on a 1200 cal/day for a while now. I train (run & strengh) 3 times a week. My scale is stuck since a few weeks now and I'm worried that my metabolism in taking a nap..... Damn! I don't know where to stand. Just want to loose those last 5 to 10 pounds. Anyway, feel free to add and take a look at my journal!

I'd say that WW is great for begginers. Easy to follow program, simple "calory count" system. Less discouraging when starting off!

I hear you! Been their! Don't be to hard on yourself. like Stef said, weight loss is not linear and lots on things can affect it! Water retention, hormones, fatigue..... Look at the long run! Good luck!

Don't forget to drink a lot of water up to an hour before exercising. Your muscles will need it! And water during and water after, and water all the time! :) Keep it up! You can do this!
