  • Welcome! Request sent :)
  • Welcome! Feel free to add me! I try to me motivating and generally positive... Most days, anyway :)
  • I started making my lifestyle change in January 2011. As of today, I've lost 60 lbs. I try to exercise 4 or 5 times a week and cook most meals at home. I have always been an emotional eater and didn't treat my body well in my teens and college years. So I had a lot of damage to repair. But here I am today. Some days are…
  • Well, I'm not a mommy in the traditional sense. My two kids are fuzzy :) But feel free to add me! I try to be motivating and generally positive... Most days anyway :) Best wishes in your journey!
  • Welcome from the Midwest! :) Feel free to add me! I have my diary open to friends and I aim to eat at least 120, 130 g protein daily! I also plan most days and cook alot of meals myself, so I know what you mean about planning! It can be quite the undertaking. Best wishes on your journey!
  • Welcome! Feel free to add me if you like :) Best wishes on your journey!
  • Hey everyone! I'm 26 and live in Missouri. I've lost 60 lbs since January 2011 and am currently just 10-12 lbs away from my goal weight! I came across Fat2Fit radio just yesterday, so I have alot of catching up to do :) I haven't been using MFP's intake goals for quite sometime, as they never seemed right for me. I have…

  • For me, it's not about how hard it is. I love a good challenge, which is why I started p90x in the first place. I can do the yoga and HAVE done it for 3 weeks, hoping to find the groove and enjoy it like I do with the other dvds. When I don't find the groove, I don't give 110%. I'd rather do something else (which doesn't…

  • I don't feel so guilty about hating Yoga X now :) I am a fan of yoga and was so pumped that it was included in this program. After the first time, I thought 'well maybe it was just an off day for me...' But aftet the third try, I realized I just don't care for his style too much. Granted, it IS Yoga X. But I kept thinking…

  • Did P90x Core Synergistics last night and it kicked my butt! Week 2 day 2 tonight- cardio!
  • I have a Polar ft6 (i think). I got it on amazon for around $60. So far, I'm impressed. I've had it about 2 months, I'd say. Probably will never do a workout without it :)

  • I'm doing the Lean P90x program and did yoga last night... I cannot believe how stiff I am! Thank goodness I do it at home, because I was even embarassing myself with all my stumbling :) everyone has to start somewhere!
  • After getting home and taking care of my household duties, i'll be p90x-ing it up. It might not be unti 7:30 or 8:00, but who cares! I'd rather workout later than not at all!
  • Mind if I join? This week was my 'first week'... When in reality, I took a break and picked up day 4 of week 1 last night :) Starting next week, i'll be on the regular Lean schedule! I've never done it before, but am pumped to get into it!
  • I just started p90x this week! I am doing the Lean program first, then going back and doing the Classic (well, that's the plan!) Feel free to add me! I actually use a HRM during my workouts. If you can afford one (mine was about $60 online), I highly recommend one! I think you can google a 'calories burned' calculator…
  • I have a schedule hanging up on my fridge! :) everytime I mindlessly wander in to look for a snack, I see it and think 'oh yeah...' Thanks for the offer! Where are you in the program?
  • Last night was my first day of level 2. Its definately up a level! Some of the exercises will require me to get heavier weights (whoo hoo!) and some I still have to do a beginner modification from level 1. But I got my calories burned bumped up about 50 cals. And my shoes kept flying off during a few moves! Might have to…
  • I have an ft4. I started level 2 just last night and burned an even 300 (pushing pretty hard). While doing level 1, I started out around 285 and by day 10, I was down to 245. I'm 5'6, 25 yrs old, 148ish lbs and been working out a little over a year. Hope that helps!
  • No problem! I don't track those types of things either. Unless I'm jogging while shopping or cleaning, then I might consider :) I think i'll try the 120 heart rate thing as a guide. Thanks for the input! :)
  • This sounds exactly like me: 30 Day Shred, 1200 cals and nothing happened! Will be trying this for sure... Just to clarify, I DO eat cals back?
  • Been struggling myself... After some research, I aimed to get at least 100g daily. High protein foods I eat include egg beaters, cheese, cottage cheese, fish, chicken, peanut butter, go lean cereals, nuts, turkey... I often (pretty much everyday) have to resort to some kind of protein shake. Not ideal... But good for the…
  • Welcome! Feel free to add me! Good luck with your journey :)
  • 'your neck is not invited to this party!' during crunches. Still makes me laugh!
  • Sooo I tried to go from 4 lb to 5 lb weights... Holy *kitten*, it was way harder! Just 1 pound more! I did as many as I could with the 5's. Guess I'll have to push a little harder tmrw :) Hope everyone is having good luck with their 30 DS!
  • I use 4lb weights for now. After a few reps, I start to feel the burn, especially the anterior raises!! At the gym, I had been doing weight lifting with heavier weights, usually 10 lbs or so. But I was also 1) going every OTHER day and 2) alternating days with arms and legs. The 4 pounders work great for me right now. I…
  • Started on 01.23.12. Tonight will be level 1, day 3. I plan to power through 30 days straight. PLAN being the key word. Keep up the great work everyone! We can do it!
