I have a Polar ft6 (i think). I got it on amazon for around $60. So far, I'm impressed. I've had it about 2 months, I'd say. Probably will never do a workout without it :)

I'm doing the Lean P90x program and did yoga last night... I cannot believe how stiff I am! Thank goodness I do it at home, because I was even embarassing myself with all my stumbling :) everyone has to start somewhere!

After getting home and taking care of my household duties, i'll be p90x-ing it up. It might not be unti 7:30 or 8:00, but who cares! I'd rather workout later than not at all!

Mind if I join? This week was my 'first week'... When in reality, I took a break and picked up day 4 of week 1 last night :) Starting next week, i'll be on the regular Lean schedule! I've never done it before, but am pumped to get into it!

Last night was my first day of level 2. Its definately up a level! Some of the exercises will require me to get heavier weights (whoo hoo!) and some I still have to do a beginner modification from level 1. But I got my calories burned bumped up about 50 cals. I have an ft4. I started level 2 just last night and burned an even 300 (pushing pretty hard). While doing level 1, I started out around 285 and by day 10, I was down to 245. I'm 5'6, 25 yrs old, 148ish lbs and been working out a little over a year. Hope that helps!

No problem! I don't track those types of things either. Unless I'm jogging while shopping or cleaning, then I might consider :) I think i'll try the 120 heart rate thing as a guide. Thanks for the input! :)

Been struggling myself... After some research, I aimed to get at least 100g daily. High protein foods I eat include egg beaters, cheese, cottage cheese, fish, chicken, peanut butter, go lean cereals, nuts, turkey... Sooo I tried to go from 4 lb to 5 lb weights... Holy *kitten*, it was way harder! Just 1 pound more! I did as many as I could with the 5's. Guess I'll have to push a little harder tmrw :) Hope everyone is having good luck with their 30 DS!

I use 4lb weights for now. After a few reps, I start to feel the burn, especially the anterior raises!! At the gym, I had been doing weight lifting with heavier weights, usually 10 lbs or so.
