I live in JC as well and am OBSESSED with Krispy pizza! It's by far the best pizza I've ever had and I also save calories to eat half a pie. Love the Grandma but their vodka pizza is also amazing :)

What kind of prizes are you giving yourself?

Vodka and club soda with a splash of grapefruit juice. Perfect for summer, very refreshing and only about 85 calories :)

You will see 1-2 glasses of wine in my diary almost every night & a couple nights a week when I go out I drink more than that. I think the trick is to allow extra calories in your budget for it make sure you log it all as accurately as possible - the amount of calories in alcohol was a huge eye-opener for me. Some days…

I'm 26 and need to lose about 50 lbs. I have lost 9 so far since October and log every day! All can feel free to add me :)

Hi, I'm also 5'3" and 175 lbs! My highest was 183 about 2 months ago and I'm hoping to get down to 125ish. Please feel free to add me! :)

I do this too! I also add a dollar for every inch I lose, every mile I run and every day I complete my diary and am under my calorie goal. I think of it as a way of putting aside money to buy my new wardrobe when I reach my goal!

Princeton Half Marathon on November 4th!

Go for a long run this weekend, aim for 8 miles or more and see how you do. If you're okay, increase it next weekend and decide then if you thing you can finish. Don't put too much pressure on yourself for tme, just aim to finish it. You don't have to decide today, but if you feel like you're not ready a week or 2 out…

I think it might have to do with your breathing. I'm not sure what kind of cardio you're doing but when I started running I used to have this problem. I researched effective breathing and started focusing on this, changing the way I breathe when I work out and I stopped getting headaches. Maybe something to look into?

I'm running this too!! I am so excited for it but also nervous because it is only my 2nd half marathon. Good luck!!! :)

I did this last year too and agree it was an amazing day!! I cried after running out of the tunnel! Already signed up to run again this year :)

Totally agree. Saying that AA is bad is just absolutely ridiculous. The fact you know one person who the program did not work for means absolutely nothing. I know many people whose lives have been SAVED fully or partially by AA and they are far from "nasty-verbally abusive and toxic individuals". You could actually use…
-
WOW. Are you kidding?? Crazed AA converts?? You say you lost a friend to AA but you do you have any idea how many friends/family members have been SAVED because of AA? Just because your husband was able to "just quit" doesnt mean that everyone can. Some people do not have that type of control on their own hence why they…

It is definitely harder for me to run outside. I started out running on the treadmill, then after a few months switched to outdoor running and noticed a huge difference. But, now I only like running outside! I would highly recommend it. I get bored on the treadmill. Not only do you get to see all different things outside,…

That is so awesome - congratulations!!! It is such an amazing feeling to complete a run longer than you've ever run before. There is no other feeling like it . Keep it up! :)
-
Definitely - you have plenty of time to train! Just make sure you stick to your program and don't ever skip your long runs as they are the most important part of training. I trained for a half marathon in 3 months and did fine! You'll do great :)
