  • Hi everyone. I started #mbf on Beachbody on January 1st and have been looking for a support group since the Beachbody one isn't great. I completed Day 13 #mbf, Power Ignite this morning.

  • Day 5 of StrongLifts SQ: 65# 5x5 BP: 55# 5x5 BR: 75# 5x5
  • Absolutely amazing!!
  • Hello everyone. I joined the group 4 (?) years ago when I started StrongLifts but then life got in the way and I stopped for a LONG time. But today was my first day back. I had told myself that I was going to lose weight before I joined the gym and started the program again, but the weight just wasn't moving anywhere so I…
  • I followed the program in 2015 and loved it. Eventually life took a turn and I stopped but I will be starting back up soon. I recommend it to all of my female friends.
  • I hover on the line of Keto and just low-carb as that is where I feel my best. I followed this until a couple years ago when things spiraled out of control. Back on this year with a goal of 100lbs lost. Feel free to add me.
  • Just added you. I need to lose 100lbs as well, started 1/2/19. We've got this.
  • Adding you. Several years ago I lost 65 pound, gained it back, got pregnant and then gained more. This year I am getting myself back. Striving for 100lb weight loss. Not ready to share my starting weight yet. Anyone else feel free to add me.
  • I lost 65lbs about 3 years ago and I felt the exact same way you did. People that saw me everyday didn't notice much, and when I looked in the mirror I still saw the "fat girl." The worst part was that I could wear the same shirt and pants during the entire duration. They fit different when I was at my heaviest to when I…
  • Hi Everyone. I'm back again. This profile picture of mine is from my success previously but it is not a good representation of what I look like now. I'm even heavier than by before picture currently. My weight creeped back up for a year and then I got pregnant. My son is now almost 11 months old and I'm still over here…
  • Last fall I was in a similar position. I was 250 lbs and starting SL 5x5. I assumed people were saying "look at this fat girl trying to lift..." Leading up to my first workout I watched form videos like crazy. Then my first day at the gym I got on a treadmill that overlooked the free weigh area. I observed where everything…
  • Sucralose, I have a self diagnosed allergy to it and they put that s*** in everything now. As of last week, I can no longer have anything diet made by Pepsico. :(
  • I started in a 18/20 pants and 2XL/1XL tops. I have lost 65 lbs and have only moved down 1 size... 16/18 pants, and XL tops. Talk about frustrating!
  • ^ This! I am on "low-carb" as I tend to over eat starchy foods (bread, pastries, candy, etc.) But my first and foremost priority is make sure I maintain a deficit.
  • As a picky eater myself I often had to force myself to like things. I would eat small portions of veggies I didn't like with food that would mask their flavor. I covered some veggies in cheese. Eventually I would add more veggies and less of everything else. I still HATE most veggies, and I mean HATE no matter how many…
  • I upset others when I eat bacon every morning and don't share. :) But I know the broccoli that I constantly steam at work bothers some. But I honestly don't care. Some of their foods doesn't smell very appettizing either...
  • I was on a LCHF diet and then got off, but discovered I feel so much better following LC. For breakfast I generally have turkey bacon and egg muffins. But often I would eat "lunch or dinner" items for breakfast. Lunch/Dinner - (some of my favorites) hamburgers on lettuce, tacos using lettuce cups, italian sausage w/…
  • I have never followed any particular "diet" but I did start eating low carb. I set my macros at 15% carbs, 55% fat, and 30% protein. Depending on your calorie goal you may need to adjust. I would say anywhere from 15 - 25% would be a good.
  • "Shoot for the stars, even if you miss you'll land in the clouds" If 70 lbs is your ultimate goal weight then it MAY be difficult to achieve it in under a year. However, my advice is to give it your best effort and keep going. Even if you "only" lose 50, or even 40, you'll be that much close to your goal.
  • A picture posted by a friend on FB for the whole world to see. I knew I had gained weight but didn't realize it was that bad. With every like the picture got I cried because it meant one more person saw it.
  • I kind of just walked in and starting lifting things and have seen gains, with no injuries. I have only been lifting for <2 months so I still remember the nervousness of the first day. Before I went I watched forms videos of what I was going to do over and over again. And then my first day I hoped a treadmill because it…
