I have to post a day early this week, but I will still try to post on Labor Day as well. Sigh--I thought my original goal of losing 3.2 pounds in 6.5 weeks was conservative. At least I am maintaining pretty well. I think after this challenge I will do an intentional maintenance for two weeks and then try again.

I really expected to be back up a lot because yesterday was a date and there was both lunch AND dinner out! So I'm glad for numbers' sake it didn't go up much lol.
It's also kind of amazing how much my weight fluctuated. It's really easy for me to have gone through this month and think "oh I didn't really lose anything, my weight was too high before I was just bloated/constipated or something so I didn't really lose". Like, my first couple weeks "back on track" saw me jump from 178 to 170 which was definitely all water and waste, so I know it can be a major thing. However I do think I did lose because these are brand new lows. My partner was commenting yesterday I was looking a little smaller too, which was a nice confidence boost
Dang I'm really glad I participated in this. It shows me something actually happened over this time.

Today I ran my first 10K! My weight is slightly elevated since I’ve been eating at maintenance and hydrating myself in preparation of the race. So, I didn’t make my challenge goal weight, but completing the B210K and the race balances that out.3 -

This morning, I weighed in at 158 and I'm okay with that. I was started in early July and there wasn't much change in weight for the first month and then things started to move in August. My calorie deficit was for 0.5 lb a week but I also had exercise where I didn't eat back calories so it could have been anywhere between 0.5 lb to 1 lb each week. It's going to be a slow process and while I'm about 6 lbs down since July, I've learned that I had bought most of my clothes when I weight less than 160 lbs since they're all fitting much better now and I am definitely stronger at the gym.2 -
