Congrats on all the successes you have had this week - and if you hit a bump in the road, don't stop. Congratulations on your success up to this point! The self-realization part is the hardest, followed by the motivation to keep going. You sound like you've got a great routine! Keep it up!

Happy February ❤️ I am so happy I stumbled upon this thread as I need all the motivation and accountability I can get. Age: 44 Height: 5'5” SW: 211.4 GW: 160 February SW: 211.4 February GW: 200 lbs Pounds until GW: 41.4 Feb 8: 211.4 Feb 15: Feb 22: Feb 28: My main goal this month is to stay on top of logging what I eat. I am a bit taller than you 5'4 and a half, lol, but wanted to reach out and tell you to add me if you'd like. I am starting on this journey again (yes again, sigh) after having gotten within a few pounds of my goal weight in the Summer of 2015. I started a desk job that Fall and the lack of activity during my day caused…

Feel free to add me! I started at 195 am down to around 160 with 15-20 to lose. I could sure use that extra push too ;-)
-
I am tinkering around 155 and 5'4 & 3/4"... that 3/4 does matter  The dresses I have bought recently are a size 8, and I do have a 6 I fit into, too! Pants/shorts, I am still between an 8 and a 10 (US sizes).
-
You look fantastic and the smile on your face shows that you know you've done well, too  I started in March of 2014 at 195 in a size 14 and am currently around 150. I am 5'5 so similar in height, too. I'm definitely eating healthier overall and am incorporating exercise in several days a week, but I've got a little…

Wow, you are such an inspiration and your attitude is spot on with being successful at your weight loss and anything else in life! I'm adding you as a friend because I want to be able to see you achieve everything you set out to do

I have eaten back most if not all of my calories for the last year and I have lost 40 lbs. MFP works
-
Feel free to add me as a friend! I am on here pretty regularly unless I am camping or on vacation in an area where I don't have internet/cell service! I have about 15 lbs to go to my goal weight, and I'd love to encourage you as you get closer to yours! I, too, am a busy, working mom of 2 active boys so I understand (from…

Tell yourself it will be just as good for breakfast tomorrow morning (it has bananas in it so it counts as breakfast ;) ) and make it fit into your day tomorrow!

Wow! Amazing results so far! Keep it up!!!

I know it's been a few months since this thread was visited, but I am so glad I found it. And your post really resonated with me. In high school, I ran cross country. Back then, the girls had to run 2 mile races. I was one of the slowest; my fastest race was in 17 min. Oh how'd I'd love to be able to run 2 miles in 17…

When I started last year with 40+ lbs to lose, I was pretty steadily losing 1.5-2 lbs per week. Some weeks it was closer to a lb, some weeks it was just over 2, but it always averaged out. I was eating around 1460 calories at that time, more when I exercised. I am around 10-15 lbs away from my final goal now, and I am…

Are you planning on doing it daily? I'd love to support you and perhaps get back at doing it, but I try to do cardio a few days a week too so I would only be doing it 2-3 days a week tops.
-
^^This!!! And I bet if you lose 40-50 lbs by that time safely, you will like how you look. How tall are you?
-
Maybe you are feeling fine and full now, but I would think you will burn out pretty quickly eating so little and incorporating the kinds of workouts like JM's 30 day shred. I need to get back on doing the 30 day shred a few times a week. I have tried it in the past, but I haven't stuck with it long term. Good luck to you…

Congrats on starting your journey to being healthier! But can I ask why you are only taking in 800 calories? My journey started last March with stats very similar to yours, and I am down 37 lbs eating 1500+ calories a day, even moreso when I exercise.
-
GREAT reason, and cute kids! I wish you much luck and success on your journey!

Canned tuna in water is 100 calories per can, or 50 per serving. If I am low on protein, I will add this to my diet. I will down a cup of skim milk with a meal, 90 calories and 8g of protein, just to get a little extra protein in.
-
I'd leave your settings where they are, but I also suggest eating back almost all your exercise calories.
-
Definitely a difference - and only 2 lbs? Great job!
-
Not sure exactly what you are talking about, but I LOVE your dress!
-
Thank you!!! And that is so true! I love the bright colors - I feel so confident in them! Yet when I was heavy, I trended towards black or darker colors a lot!
-
Such an awesome NSV!!!! Great job and so glad you found MFP and are using it to it's full potential :)
-
Thank you!
-
Wonderful NSV!!!! I love the matching get up - phone and all
-
GREAT JOB!!!! Keep it up!

Wow, thanks all  Just to clarify, the dress is an 8 but I am still officially in my 10s for jeans! My end all goal is to be in an 8 for all my pants (a 6 would be great but I'd be happy being a trimmed, toned 8)! And all of you 12's out there, you got this  It's totally doable! It has taken me about a year…

Thanks all :)
