Right now in CT, I won't go any colder than like 30F. As the season goes on, I'll go outside in layers in the teens and 20's as long as there is no wind. I can't do wind when I run during the cold winter.

Im right there with you - mac and cheese, lasagna, stews and soups - all comfort food! I find I'm a lot more active and in shape during the spring/summer. I can't wait for it to be lighter later so I can go out and run after work. Until then, it's layers and lights to go out in the dark for me!

SW - 276 CW - 221.5 GW - under 199 Unfortunately I have genetics going against me. But, my friend helping me to push more, and run longer - so here's hoping! I haven't been down under 200 since HS (I just turned 30 in August).

^ I keep reading about this TDEE and would also love to learn more about it! (I'm so clueless when it comes to that!!) Is that amount the amount of calories you need to eat EVERY day, or just on days you know you're working out? What about days you're not working out?

I am a licensed instructor (3 years now!), and take a lot of my music & routines from the box set. You'll love it, especially if you love to dance! I will say though, nothing beats a live class. I still love to take classes when I can. So much fun!

I'm a huge fan of running in the cold - except when it dips way below freezing & there's wind. Then I'll choose an alternate activity (elliptical or ZUMBA). Otherwise, if it's above freezing and the wind has stopped, I'm game!

I've learned that: 1) teaching 6 classes a week will burn you out - both physically & mentally 2)Not to switch your birth control just because it's a free sample... 3) I really do have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world
