I've always found recipes by Carolyn at alldayidreamaboutfood.com very reliable. I'm very tempted to try the one that kpk54 mentioned above. :)

When I was younger I was able to lose weight much faster and now it seems like it takes much longer. I just try to focus on this as a life style change and slow and steady is fine. I do best when I stick to basics and don't include low carb desserts etc.

There are quite a few muffin recipes with good amounts of flax seed. I also blend frozen strawberries with water, yogurt, flax seed, and your sweetener of choice if necessary.

I have given myself a goal and a date for that goal many times and I think it somehow sabotages me. I miss the goal and even if I have made progress it depresses me that I didn't do better and then I fall into bad habits again. Rinse and repeat. Once a week I make an egg casserole in a 9x12 pan and cut it up into serving sizes and freeze them in baggies to take to work. Sometimes it is eggs cheese and sausage and sometimes it is eggs broccoli and swiss cheese.
