  • I bring my lunch/snacks to work every day & while I usually eat my fruit the day I bring it, apples, bananas, & oranges last a few days. I leave them on my desk & not in a drawer where I'll forget them.
  • Jackie Warner has some goods ones for strength/abs - Personal Training w/Jackie: Xtreme Timesaver Training; Crunch-free Xtreme Abs, & Power Circuit Training are all good. If you dont want any cardio stay away from her One on One Training with Jackie dvd.
  • I workout out at home to dvds or exercise tv & walk. I recently started going to zumba classes but it is at a studio, not a gym. Personally I dont like going to the gym.
  • Go for it! The instructor in the class I go to isnt obese but isnt super skinny either - she is "average" size. There are pics up in the studio of her before zumba & getting certified and she has lost a ton of weight, and looks great. I find it inspiring & think others probably do as well.

  • A few wks back I was eating raw carrots just about every week day as my afternoon snack & was having awful stomach pains & gas - similar to when I eat too much wheat or fiber. I stopped eating carrots & the pain went away immediately.
  • Often times I weigh more right before I start but then the following wk I'll either have lost all of that plus some or I'll have lost that & gone back to where I was before. Ive stopped weighing myself right before because I know I'll weigh more between the bloating & giving into the cravings.

  • I'm 5'2 & currently weigh 130, when I log ripped in 30 in as circuit training for 30 minutes I get around 239 calories burned. If I use 25 minutes like you did, I get around 189 calories burned. High intensity aerobics gives me lower numbers for the same time frame.
  • I love Jillian & have all of her DVDs. My favorite is her newest one Ripped in 30 - great workout & it goes by so quickly! The only workout I dont care for is the kettlebell one, the workout itself isnt bad but my lower back hurts so bad for a few days after. Other than that one, I'd recommend any of her DVDs.
