Yeah, I had the same problem. I had to drop 40 pounds to drop from a sizer 24 to a size 22. I am pretty tall (5'8") so the height is not the same, but I still had the same problem. Now I am down to a size 18 and have lost 53 pounds.

Some of these horror stories are unbelievable! People can be so hurtful. I am sorry that you had to put up with an ignorant, childish tool like that. YOU know how hard you are working on the new you and that is all that matters. There are always 'haters' out there ready to kick us out of jealousy. And my story: When I was…

I agree with this Kaylene. I think you are going to run into 'starvation mode'. When I first started I was allowed somewhere around 2000 calories a day. I followed the calorie count that MFP suggested. If you don't eat enough calories during the day your body with think it is starving and will hold onto your fat. Not good.…

28 Days Later - scared the crap out of me! I used to have a little saying that I followed (when I was a chubbley): The only way you could get me to run was zombies were chasing me. Needless to say, I have started running to loose the chubble.

This is good stuff. I am a little possessed with the scale as well. However, I just have to keep reminding myself that God made everyone unique. "You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb." God knew exactly what size we would be before we were even born. When my husband and I first started dating, I was…

I can pass up almost anything (and I have a nasty sweet tooth) but I absolutely CANNOT say no to ice cream . It is my kryptonite. I no exactly how hard this battle is. I still have ice cream, but not every night like before and only like a 1/2 cup or so. It is just enough to take away the ice cream craving. Good luck!…

When I was a little girl we had very little money so my mom would make homemade bread all the time. Well, if any of you have ever had homemade bread (which is completely delightful), you know that it does have a tendency to fall apart. So, making a sandwich with two slices of homemade bread is a bit of a nightmare. I used…

I have decided that I am gonna wait until the 'great weight-loss process' is completed before I resize my rings. I will just have the ghetto string wrapped around for a long long time. ;-) It's all good!

My husband does not shave his chest and I am really glad he doesn't. He is a red head and is not overly hairy so it is not creepy looking or anything in my opinion. I have always been more attracted to gentleman with a little 'gruff'. If you are completely hair less I have a tendency to compare you to a 12 year old boy.…
