  • Can I piggyback a follow up question? With Premium, is it possible to change your goals for a single day? For example, I normally do FD on Wednesdays and TDEE on Thursdays. Let’s say I have a week where I need to swap those 2 days around, just for that week. Does Premium allow you to adjust your goals on a day-by-day basis…
  • Yesterday my diary said FitBit Calorie adjustment for 7k steps - 300 cals. Today my diary said UA Record Calorie Adjustment (which I've never seen before...it's always been FitBit) for 10k steps - 600 cals. So yeah, my burn seems a little high. But yours sounds way off.
  • But it shouldn't be up to MFP to force us into anything. Make recommendations, yes. Even a warning if you do go under 1200, fine (that's actually what it used to do). But to disallow us to diet the way we want is a little overbearing.
  • Guys, I finally got a reply from MFP about this: In the Fitbit Calorie Adjustment photo, you can see the text under the 0 adjustment that states "Your adjustment has been reduced to keep your goal above our 1200 calorie minimum." Currently MyFitnessPal will not recommend a goal under 1200 calories for women and 1500 for…
  • I did it for 90 days end of last year and lost 12 lbs. I'm starting back today after going off it for a few months. I've put back on 8 lbs in the past 2 months so I need to get serious about this again! But we can do this! :)
  • I went to the gym last night for Zumba and got there about 5 min early. I figured, hey, while I'm waiting, I could warm up for 5 min on the treadmill. Then I was like, Nah, F-it...I don't feel like wiping down the machine for a measly 5 min. <---lazy
  • Bottom line...a pound of muscle on my *kitten* looks a lot better than a pound of fat on my *kitten*.
  • @daymonalisa‌ If you go to the top right of your screen, there's three little icons...a bell, a star, and a gear. If you click the bell (Notifications) then click "All Notifications", then on the next screen click "Replies", you can see any thread you've replied to. • LOVE that garden! I love gardening. I have a small yard, so I garden on a small scale with two raised veggie beds. I'm blessed to be able to grow year round since we're in Florida. Winter is actually our best growing season...summers can be too hot here! But the tomatoes and peppers like it. These are my two beds in Nov…
  • Daiya cheeses. The slices and shreds aren't that great IMO, but the block style ones are SO good. Esp the jalapeno Havarti style one! OH...and Go Veggie cream cheese alternative. Spread on cracker or mix with some seasonings and spread on toast. Or here's the best...mix with some Marshmallow creme (1:1) and dip fruit in…
  • I am doing the 5:2 plan, which is a form of IF. I have 500 cal on Mon & Thur, and my TDEE (1550 cal) on all other days. I have found that being able to have that little bit extra 5 days a week (plus more if I exercise) makes this much more sustainable for me. What I love is that I have no trouble resisting tempting foods…
  • Sorry...just now seeing your question. There is a pretty big list of websites that Mealboard can automatically import from: AllRecipes BBC Good Food Betty Crocker Bon Appetit Chow Clean Eating Mag Cooking Channel TV Diabetic Living Online Eating Well Epicurious Fine Cooking Food52 Food & Wine Food.com Food Network Food…
  • Seconding both Pinterest and Mealboard. Pinterest is first step...kind of a, "Yeah I want to try that some day" step. Then when I'm feeling adventurous and I want to try something new, I pick one of my Pinned recipes, import it into Mealboard, do a quick grocery list sync, and the ingredients are automatically added to my…

  • Today I am grateful that I slept well last night. I've been waking up and not being able to go back to sleep lately, and last night I slept all the way through to 7am. Feels good!
  • 11/30: -0- Ugh! I was way short this month. I still love the challenge though because I know there were a few days when I didn't feel like working out, but I did anyway solely because I wanted to get to 24 hrs!

  • Today I worked on turning disappointment around into gratefulness. Camping is one of my favorite pastimes and we had a camping trip planned for months for this weekend. Well, hubby's flu got worse so our weekend camping plans were shot. But...I am grateful that he's starting to feel better today. I am grateful that I…

  • I lived in TN into my 20's and I longed to live somewhere with sandy beaches and palm trees. In my 30's...wish grated! I moved to Florida. Been here for almost 13 years. Now I long to live somewhere with snow-capped mountains and cool weather. I do believe we just want a change of scenery sometimes.
  • OMG that's hilarious! I'm SO VERY GRATEFUL that I do not have the flu. Thank you universe for keeping the flu out of my body. (Hubby has the flu right now and I'm putting all the energy I can out into the universe that I DON'T have it...AND I WILL NOT GET IT. I am healthy...I am well...I am virus-free....) :s
