Gayle, sorry I just read this...my daughter is actually now living in Colorado! She's in Fort Collins. I'm all the way in Florida so it's unnerving having her so far away! I'll just say, unlimited talk minutes on our phones is a blessing!

Today I am grateful that the predicted "possible foot" of snow never materialized although traffic was slow because of ice on my trip to class. Easy drive on the way home.0

OMG that's hilarious!
I'm SO VERY GRATEFUL that I do not have the flu. Thank you universe for keeping the flu out of my body.
(Hubby has the flu right now and I'm putting all the energy I can out into the universe that I DON'T have it...AND I WILL NOT GET IT. I am healthy...I am well...I am virus-free....)

Yes, glad I do not work for the product testing division of J & J, lol. Plus you always have to do things with a team in corporations these days. Glad you are staying healthy joflo. I think that I read that exercise is what pumps the immune system. You should be in great shape!0

Grateful that I haven't had to drive the last few days. Grateful that I know how to cook. Grateful for the men and women who have fought so I can live free in my great country, Canada.0

Grateful to not have to go out in the single digit temps tonight. Grateful that I am getting started with retirement. It will be interesting to focus on not make too much money rather than not making enough. Grateful that my X is working out some issues with me.0

Today I am grateful to move forward as a retired person (who will have to work as well, of course). I am grateful that there will be a little extra money coming in in the next year and I will get caught up with my bills. Grateful that payday is tomorrow!0

Thanks joflo! It will take a while to get used to but feels, so far, like a positive change. Today I am grateful that I'm inching closer to the 180's. I'm grateful that Natalie came to make art with me today. Grateful that I did not have to go out today on this cold and snowy day.0

Today I worked on turning disappointment around into gratefulness.
Camping is one of my favorite pastimes and we had a camping trip planned for months for this weekend. Well, hubby's flu got worse so our weekend camping plans were shot. But...I am grateful that he's starting to feel better today. I am grateful that I didn't catch it from him. I am grateful that I held off purchasing a ton of food for a camping trip that didn't happen. I am grateful for my fire pit in my backyard that gave me *sort of* the feeling of camping.0 -

oh i'm glad this thread is back!...
Today I'm grateful for how easy my hair was to style. I'm grateful for warm PJ's and a soft bed. When I was outside and it felt so fall like I'd had a memory of being outside an ex's work waiting for him to finish working and the sadness that his father was there and did not accept me. Also the sadness of being away from my child. Also the hunger I was feeling while waiting and the cold of my car. Today when I brought my child home from school I was grateful that my life has changed completely and I am in a warm life, relationship, and home. Except I'm still hungry, but that's between me and my cal goal! LoL.0 -
