It is comforting to know I am not alone with this problem. Some good advice here! Thanks much!

Sunna_w that's awesome! Will try that!

(It cut the rest of my post off) specifically, 12s tend to be too tight around my waist but if I go up, the fabric tends to be way too lose around my legs and butt. Looking for brand recommendations from anyone who suffers similarly! Thank you!

I am trying to quit too! I am taking Wellbutrin and it helps some but I still struggle with the temptations. I absolutely can't drink alcohol otherwise I will smoke. For now, trying to curb both habits. Stay strong!

Happened to me too! First time dieting and exercising, 15 days in, had lost 5 pounds, then back up 2 pounds over original weight! I'm going to keep at it and assume this is normal. Good luck to you!

I have the same issue and it also happens while I'm cycling. I understand the problem to be caused from the positioning of my feet relative to my hips. I continuously adjust the location of my feet on the elliptical pedals to avoid this. Leaning back more can help as well. Obviously, not wearing tight shoes is important…

I've been getting up at 4:45, at Gym at 5:15 weekdays. BEST thing for me and I'm not a morning person. I have to go to bed by 9pm. Otherwise, I can't get up. I think this is why I've been successful - making sure I'm actually getting enough sleep. It took me about a week, but my sleep schedule shifted so now I feel just…

Congratulations!! So inspiring. Can I ask what was your daily deficit and what amount of cardio did you do? Also what kind of foods did you eat?
-
thanks for posting this. I was just thinking how hard this is, and wondering at the same time if it's really even going to work. But obviously it's worked for you!! Congrats
-
wow. So inspiring. You are beautiful and strong. I'm in the same place that you were in two years ago - looking at myself wondering what has happened. I want to be where you are. Thanks for the motivation.

Congrats!! My gauge is if it's moderately difficult but I can keep going, then I'm getting more fit. Also I feel it is so important to be consistent so if you can do the walk everyday and are not discouraged by it, then that is better than getting frustrated because it's too hard and then not doing it.

I keep bags of salad mixes in the fridge with low fat dressing. Once a week, I bake a bunch of chicken breasts, and bring those to work, and mix it all up at the office. Requires a fridge :)

$75-$100 a week in Chicago, at Mariano's supermarket, just food and some cleaning supplies.

Thanks for the feedback! I am definitely watching what I eat, and that is the hardest thing about running - being HUNGRY. What foods do you eat to keep your energy up for the runs and lose weight? I'm trying to get more protein in my diet without upping the fat too much. Chicken, tuna, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, string…

I'm on Zoloft too and had the same question. When I looked it up, i found that the research done showed that there was no correlation between taking zoloft and weight change, but regardless, many people claim it affects their weight. I interpret this to mean that depression can change the way we eat, and as we feel better,…
