I have been putting cottage cheese in my smoothies for years. A favorite: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 2 tbsp PB2, 1 frozen banana, 2 packets Truvia, 1 cup water and about 12 ice cubes. Blend and enjoy!

I had signed up for WW again but instead I am going to let the subscription expire (in two months). I have deleted the app and will count calories. I tracked my calories for a week while using WW and was eating on average 1,250 a day -- too low for me. I certainly don't want to wreck/slow down my metabolism. I also need to…

That is my tip too...put it in a cone! Ice cream is my downfall and I try to keep it out of the house. But for those times that I don't...

I am going to start weighing myself every other week instead of every week to see more of a change.

I try to keep my triggers out of the house. My #1 trigger is ice cream. I recently discovered Halo Top though, and it has been a Godsend because #1, it's delicious...and #2, I won't overindulge because I am sensitive to sugar alcohols and if I eat too much, it's bad news.

15 lbs. I haven't seen the 140s in 5 years. :-/

Very well said.

Ok. Got it. Sorry I said anything.

If your body is not getting enough calories, it will think it's being starved and hold on to fat.

Anything I want to eat, but less of it (portion control). :)

Thanks so much everyone (and I will of course continue to read replies left here). I have been tracking both my calories and WW points since Monday. So far, I am over my WW points each day while staying below 1,700 calories. Today, I am at 700 calories so far, but I have just 8 WW points left before dinner. :-/

I have been making myself drink 16 oz of water before each meal (I fill a mason jar halfway). I don't sip it; I basically down it or it won't get done. It also takes the edge off at each meal, so I'm not eating as much. It is still only 48 oz of water for the day, but I also drink tea and iced coffee. It all adds up.

Is he serious?

Fit them both into your day. :)

I have three daughters (22, 17 and 14) (all thin), and I am very careful about displaying any kind of restricted eating/dieting behavior in front of them. I never want any of them to focus on weight, calories, etc (unless medically necessary of course). I have been dieting on and off since I was 14. I'm 46 now. VERY tired…

Ice cream. I love all flavors. Halo Top has been a big help in saving calories, but I do prefer the creamier, richer ice creams (such as Ben and Jerry's).

Lol!

I agree!!!

Thanks everyone. I will give it a go for a couple of weeks and see what happens. Even if I just maintain, I'm alright with that. As I said, I'm not in a big rush to lose. :)

Congratulations on reaching your goal!!! :) Have you asked your doctor what a healthy weight range would be for you? I would start there.
